Yo that actually make sense, because when you skate, the toe box is the easiest to damage and places like the heal is more difficult making it a higher level
@@SteOharayes it is the striped in the red belt are on the end of the belt and each strip represents ur rank 1 -10 degree red belt and u have to be a 9th degree black belt for 48 years so basically anyone red belt is dead or close by time they get red belt 🤣🤣🤣

Now these are the coolest shoes yet I’ve seen made by Nike and worth the price because I am yet myself into fighting and boxing all of the above as I am a black belt and been boxing for 18 years. This is really cool.
Many advanced black belts have some red on them, but every art Inhave ever been in had solid red under solid black. Black usually just means that you have mastered the badic moves and are ready to start learning the actual art. You then have different degrees of black belt that is often signified by steipes of some kind on one of the ends of the belt. In some arts, the masters (4th degree black belt and above) might have a red stripe going down the middle of the black belt. It can be different with each art and can sometimes be different at different schools within the same art.
@@theaberrantdonMy old swordfight master used arm bandages instead of belts, mostly so fighters can see each others hands when they give the "Timeout" gesture and to catch a cheater if they suddenly put their hand in their pocket or something. I was the only one to go beyond brown (equivalent of black) and I ended up going through each stage again but this time with the brown bandage on my right arm instead of both arms.
Usually in traditional Korean taekwondo, the red belt is just before gaining a first degree black belt, or first Dan. In Tsien Tao Chinese Kempo, the red belt is equivalent to a sixth degree black belt (first degree master). Stripes are added to the red belt to denote second, and third degree master.
I don't understand you all. He is a youtubers reviewing this product and showing how it could turn out after wearing them while skating for, probably, HUNDREDS of hours. He says it's not meant to be cut out, but worn out by time and usage, and clearly shows how the most likely worn out simptoms would happen in a particular order that makes a lot of sense with these colors. I don't know why people are so mad at these comments. Would you be this mad everytime another video like this get uploaded but it's cutting a tool or food or whatever to show the interior? So yeah, nice video explaining to everyone, skaters and not skaters, how it would show these colors over time by using them, and how it would show red when you "mastered" skating.
These look better if you just kept them the way they were and just used the colored laces. But I get your curiosity bro. I just copped the Social Status Mac attacks, but those aren't meant to skate even tho they'd be great skate shoes so it was hella easy removing the satin material. I did it to one shoe and kept one regular to do something different
The skaters are crying the absolute hardest. “Bro you’re supposed to skate them why are you cutting them” “well maybe they’d look better if you actually used them for what their intended for and skate them” 🤓 I’m just sayin, lot of folks mad they couldn’t get a pair to skate in
It would be amazing if you could do slower and longer shots of the 360 shoe with the colours revealed. I'm trying to see all the details haha. I personally love the art project.
If you skate , like use the shoe for what it’s intended for .. it will be a natural process which makes it probably more fun then just cutting it urself
These shoes are not meant to be skated. Nike made these shits out of canvas. For both layers. Canvas is the weakest material for skating that’s why most top rated skate shoes are made from either leather or more preferably suede. I’ve skated doubled layered canvas shoes before like these and they ripped up horribly nearly down to my toes after 1 session.
Mate this has been done so many times before. You missed the most important detail. Skate boarders when they start will typically were the toe first. The shoes are coloured on the basis of how hard a trick is to do there. Ollies will reveal white. Kickflips? Will reveal blue. And so on. How did you miss this?
I’m not a skater, but I think in order to be allowed to purchase shoes like this you should be required to submit a video of yourself doing an ollie. That way people who aren’t gonna use the shoe for it’s intended use don’t get their hands on it unless it’s at a higher price through a reseller
These started out fun but now its too much. Theres no way of grtting to the colors without severly damaging the look of thr shoe. Even when you do it correctly it still looks weird with the extra threads and pieces hanging off...to make a clean pair would take a decent amount of time.
