It must of been a skid bid. I always turn myself in. When it's a county bid. I look at it as getting arrested on my terms. Police hate that. Called them up to pick me up at 6pm they came at 6am. They called me because I wasnt home. I told them I said 6pm and that's if the flight isnt delayed from PR. I'm not home right now. They were pissed. Lol. Violated a restraining order from an uncle from another marriage trying to keep me away from his daughter. The ironic truth shes now dating a black guy and uncle will now gives me.money to ask her out on dates. Yeah hes a racist. I tell him all the time God got jokes.

Blues, Bluegrass, Country, and Jazz are entirely underrated. any genre can have a bad vibe at first it's finding your niche in what you like. I'm so glad to see people liking folk more because of this band

I like both of their picking. Eliza has a haunting voice that augments the outlaw sound very nicely.Love Danny's voice, he needs to do lead vocals on some tracks. Think of the dinosaurs that had more than one great singer switching up on lead vocals. Styx, Supertramp, Fleetwood Mac,Eagles, Humble Pie, the Beatles.

Watching them live in Syd, Australia 2024 has to be the highlight of live music for me. Last band I enjoyed that much was Smashing Pumpkins at the Hordern Pav back in maybe 2008

They have actually motivated me to pick up the guitar again, as well I have considered writing again. I miss writing.
Dont know if you have heard of these guys, William Elliott Whitmore and Willie Watson are well worth the listen . If you have then owell, hope you like them, if not i hope you like them. Been on a bit of an American folk music binge myself lately so its all new to me.

I’ve never liked his kind of music until The Dead South. I love that the banjo here is reminiscent of the haunting melodies of the indigenous people of the Andes. What a wonderful fusion sound! San Juanito ❤️

Seeing Colton at the end almost moves me to tears. How it must be painful leaving your band because your body cant keep up. First three albums are remarkable, I cant imagine a fourth without him.
I totally agree with you, Jon. Really hurt to see him go... That said, the confirmation is out that Colton is back on board with the band! Something tells me that with the band picking up momentum fast, we'll be seeing a lot more of him as well as the rest of the original four in the coming years.
