Can't wait for Gaijin to nerf it in a month just like they did with the Gripen after everyone and their mom started grinding Sweden and invested money in a Finnish draken (which also has been turned into a brick not so long ago) to get their hands on the surströmming UFO. Not saying that Gripen is J35XS level bad now, it's just not what it used to be.
I hope not bc it's performing pretty realistic apart from the UFO performance at really low speed. They need to make it to feel less like u have dampening on
gripen is still top 3 in war thunder , look at su27/mig29 they randomly got nerfed last december for no reason , they just woke up n said we r turning mig29s into bricks and just made every single russian fighter dogshit.

MiG-29 probably is the most realistic aircraft at top tier, but we have so much UFO in the game that people don’t realise it at all. People have little to 0 aerodynamical knowledge

Gripen is most likely still in the UFO domain, too much SEP, energy retention and rate performance at high speed. Also seem to underperform in low speed AoA from what SAAB indicates but Bug reports are tricky with a classified aircraft
I think this is going to be a common thing with all these 4+ gen jets. They're going to get added with the craziest flight models only to get more refined later down the line which will piss off a ton of players but will eventually lead to an amazing flying experience. As to the flying, excellent work in the J-10, I highly doubt that gaijin are done with refining its flight model especially with that low speed handling.
from what i noticed on the J-10A it can out dogfight everything in its BR range except the F-16AJ for some reason, it can outrate it at low speed but anything above 500kph and the AJ will win. This goes for low altitude below 15k feet or roughly 5000m of altitude. Above that its an entirely different story, on high altitude it s like a Phantom where it just doesnt want to pull. So you want to play it low altitude and with the 85° gimbal limit on the Radar you can almost sit in a notch while guiding your PL-12. Its absolutely insane and i almost expect a nerf. Have fun while it lasts until Gaijin gives it the MiG-29 treatment.
@@AeroTurtleWell the F-14A can out rate Gripen (you saw my vid Turtle) and the F-14B is a little worse at the rate but the engine power does gives you more options would be interesting, I would love to fly it too hehe
Remembered that I got 3 kills with the PL-12 and 1 kill with the 23mm gun, was a crazy match. I would say that the only flaws so far I found with the J-10A were the hardpoints and the 23mm gun
Im kinda confused if the one on the gripen is deliberately losing the fight? Like what exactly do you gain on having afterburner on while also having your airbrakes on? 8:20
@@ProudOne then you learnt no physics, airbrake only effective at a speed at low speeds it will have not much of an impact because the indicated TWR is 1.0+ at static state, under 300km/h airbrake is ineffective which mean furthermore no drag at all
@@CruLisP TWR is insignificant in this regard. And air break still very effective in 300 kph. Please educate yourself. Air break was not a good choice to use right here where he should be trying for nose position.
@@ProudOne Thrust to weight allows the aircraft to be pushed harder (so it isnt insignificant) allowing to get higher nose authority whilst the airbrake is used to induce a slow speed fight which can lead to orvershoots. TWR litterally helps a fighter get its nose around. so "please educate yourself"
So do you think the J10 is easier to beat now as compared to the dev server duels we did? It looks like its flight performance is worse but the jet is more stable overall
Yes. F18 has very good instant aoa but unlike early delta wings it doesn't bleed energy when rating and is a good rate fighter too. but obviously you want to rate fight it unless your flying a delta cancard or flanker without instructor

Bruh. Afterburner gives you more power and airbrakes don't let you accelerate too quickly - so basically you stay low speed, while not losing TWR.
