Hello great for the video! I had a question: I have 3 battery packs in 48 volts 280AH can we connect the 3 packs on the lynx? after that I must also power the 5MPPT smartsolar victron and go to the multiplus2 (8000VA) possible? thank laurent
If you need more than 4 connections, then you will need more than one bus bar.. you can connect to the Buspar or the extension tab that sticks outside of the chasis. 5 total.
Hello do you mean 4 connections per polarity? 4+ and 4- in total for the lynx power? i also need lynx distributor for my 48 volt battery pack? or can we just put lynx power for the battery pack and the mptt plus the multiplus? (too many maybe?)
@laurentsosson1739 yes 4x positive lugs and 4x negative lugs.. so the distributor has fuses so yes its meant for your devices or loads to connect to that.. the power In does not it just has a bus bar and is meant for batteries. 4 batteries and 4 loads respectively
Hello I have another question about the lynx distributor on my solar installation I have 5 strings so 5 mptt smarsolar 150/35 they all have their 40A mega fuse fuse I was wondering if it was possible to connect the 5 smarsolar 150/35 directly to a lynx connector with a 200A fuse? possible? because otherwise I have to buy 2 lynx (expensive) to connect 4 individual smart solar (6MM²) on each lug of the first lynx and 2 others on the second lynx with the multiplus 800VA in all 7 locations on the 2 lynx no risk of gathering all the mptt in 6MM on 1 lug of 50MM²? laurent
@laurentsosson1739 typically each mppt has its own fuse to protect the wires (8awg) most likely.. if you connect a 200a fuse this would allow more than 40a to flow on any of the 5 output wires.. so this is not advisable.. you could buy a cheaper 5 lug bus bar for the 5 units or a fused bus bar... then run that to your lynx using larger cable. New subscriber here from NZ & just brought me a portable power supply for camping, recommended to use with a "40-60w 18v" solar panel so I brought a 60w solar panel to charge it but as I'm new to all this & dont have the knowledge I didn't take into account all the other technical stuff so my question is "Is it safe to charge??? Any help would be appreciated as cost me round about $400 all up & I don't want to f.... it up & can't afford to buy another! Thanks 👍🏻
@Saiyan4eva does the portable power bank take solar input directly.. if yes what is the max voc or solar input voltage and watts it can accept. What type of connector does it use for the solar input. Send links if you have link to the product you have
Hey there from New Zealand. I've got a lot to catch up on to understand your videos but I can see that you provide a tonne of useful info. Good work!
Thanks. Appreciate it.
Your vids are right on the money.
What other channels show in 5-6 vids you do in 1.

What are the specs on the charger, and what are you charging with it. ..
@@natesdiysolar The portable power supply bank is charging straight from a solar panel but havnt tried it yet what specs you need?
@@natesdiysolar What's most important I should know? As specs info on portable power bank & solar panel are a lil different! Thanks mate!

@@natesdiysolar Sorry mate Links for specs, keep getting pulled down by TH-cam, don't know why!
How many KWh can that system handle?
Battery is 5.2kwh . Inverters can produce 13kw
