In this video we cover installing the DC components for the off-grid 48 Volt solar system. We use a Victron Lynx Power In for the main DC busbar and a pair of Nader 200A DC rated breakers for the inverters. The Nader breakers are sold by Signature Solar and have a huge copper plate running the length of the breaker.
For the solar, I use a pair of mini DIN rail breakers. I also use a 200A terminal style fuse for the battery (not shown). During the video, you will see how to install the busbar and breakers as well as crimp battery lugs and solar MC4 connectors. Enjoy!

New subscriber here from NZ & just brought me a portable power supply for camping, recommended to use with a "40-60w 18v" solar panel so I brought a 60w solar panel to charge it but as I'm new to all this & dont have the knowledge I didn't take into account all the other technical stuff so my question is "Is it safe to charge??? Any help would be appreciated as cost me round about $400 all up & I don't want to f.... it up & can't afford to buy another! Thanks 👍🏻

@Saiyan4eva does the portable power bank take solar input directly.. if yes what is the max voc or solar input voltage and watts it can accept. What type of connector does it use for the solar input. Send links if you have link to the product you have
