    I think 50% of the reason I buy Victron stuff is because it's so pretty. And not just in a superfluous way. There is so much thought behind their design.

      Yeah it's definitely nice looking stuff. We enjoy using their components in our designs. Thanks for the comment!

      They make it look good because they think about every aspect of a product

    “Wiring Lynx Power In 1000 by Victron Energy”. That was the title of this video. I didn’t see one instance of wiring being accomplished. It’s pretty basic stuff I realize, but my Lynx Distributor just arrived and I did want to see one wired up. Just saying….

      Ideally you would put the appropriate terminal on the end of the wire and then bolt it on. It depends on several things.

    Thanks for this video. Do really not understand: can we use or not a BMV 700 for exemple? Cheers, Philippe

    What is the max gauge wire that the Lynx Power In supports? The manual does not... document... this. EG4-WP (48V 200A max) i'm looking at 3/0 or 4/0 wire.

      This is hard to say it’s simply because it limited by the diameter of the outside not anything else that much if you have a double insulated wire thick insulation side of copper is going to be smaller

    Does it matter which of the terminals you go to for the temp sensor ? Pos or negative and with multiple batteries would it matter which one ?

      @@erkful Their nice enough to help you out , And your going to be a dick to them ??? Man Its just crazy how this world is getting ! Something I really don't understand is why do people continue to ask such trivial little question when Victrons website gives all information on all products for free !?!? You can even download the manuals on any piece of equipment without even buying it !! And all this is free ! People bitch about victron being real expensive , and I feel they are as well . But as I said , all the information on all their equipment including manuals is completely FREE !!! Yet people continue to ask all these little questions ! Seems people have gotten really lazy and don't want to look for themselves anymore , They rather get someone else to do it for em !

      The links power in does not have a fuse connection the lynx distributor does have fuse connection for four Mega fuses and when connected with a lynx shunt or when DIY hacked has lights that will tell you when a fuse has gone bad

    Based on the dimensions of the busbars, i don't think this can run a 1000amps

    Any RJ45 cable will work? Why dont they supply the cable with the components, grrrrr.

    • @recoblade1465
      @recoblade1465 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Probably because some people may want to run a very long cable and others a very short cable
