      I made a mistake and got the gel because I thought it was a larger size of the pomade. It does not lay my edges down at all. I thought they changed the ingredients 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. Thankfully I ran across your video to explain the differences. I thought I had to shop for another edge control. I tried lotta body it didn't work that pomade laid my edges for 10 mins lol. I also ordered a new edge control online called I am Blessed hands but she gave me a refund of my $15😮😮so back to edge booster I go!! Yes $15 for edge control it better perform miracles. Thanks again for your review!!😘💞

    So as a tip to everyone, wait 2 minutes after applying any edge control to allow the edge control to “attach” to the spot you want to be laid. When you brush it right after applying, you brush the edge control “through” your hair. As you can see, the product from her edge control is now sitting at the ends of her puff, especially on the left side 😊

    I like the shine and sleek hold of the pomade more but one thing I don’t like about edge control type of gels is that they tend to get greasy, frizz up and lose hold after a hour or so, I mean it has its benefits as it doesn’t dry out the hair like regular gel but I just wish the hold was longer and it didn’t get so greasy

    I think people prioritize hair type and its ability to slick to often because it really has a lot to do with the thickness of your hair I haven’t quite identified my hair type yet but i think its like 3a/3b which is typically easy to deal with hair and usually is pretty thin but my hair is THICK but the actual curls are loose, my hair does not even go flat to the scalp when soaking wet (my hair in the pic is damp with deep conditioner)

    I’ve never used the gel only the pomade. Pomade is fire. My baby hair are on FLEEK....baby hairs on new born, incubator if you will lol I didn’t get any flaking with the pomade Malay be because I oil my scalp and hair line before or after (doesn’t really matter) I apply my leave in conditioner.

    the definition of the gelled side is amazing, the pomade just wiped out definition is some places and then showed some definition in others, it's giving an inconsistent pattern.

    Those are baby hairs. I like to use my gel for my entire head and the edge control as a topping to secure the hold even more.

      How much flakes did you get with the gel side? My biggest issue is finding a gel that doesn’t flake. Thanks.

    I bought the gel today. It only comes in the big jar for $14.99. I was so upset, I left the store. Too much gel and $$$. Then went back 10 mins later. I looked at it as an investment. LOL 🤔

    Edge controls always melt on my hair in this FL sun

  • @Zeighla
    @Zeighla 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    What am I doing wrong? I have the edge control and it gets really white and flaky on my edges. This is regardless of if there's product in my hair or not...if my hair was damp or dry. If I use a blow dryer and scarf or not....it always gets white.

    The gel side is looser and the pomade side is sleeker to me. Idk if I prefer one look over the other butttttt I didn’t know these products weren’t for daily usage, good to know. I don’t want the flaking tho. Thanks for sharing
