We were taught that water was our hairs worst enemy, when really it’s our best friend. The more hydrated your hair is the more it will do what you want it to lol
I'm so glad you showed this on natural unstraightened state of hair, sometimes the heating on our natural hair is just too much. Awesome I've subscribed
I cannot WAIT to try out different styles when I'm done with my transition eeeek UPDATE: I big chopped in august at 10months post! I’ve got braids I’m rn loving it!

You really showed me a way to do my ponytails. I can make them sometimes sometimes I can't. when they come out good it's usually by chance. I'll make the ponytail then brush the front together without parting just brushing together etc lol. Now I know the actual technic. My daughter slays the heck out of the style but I never bothered her on showing me cause she was doing it most of the time. The days she wasn't available was when I might get it right or not lol. I appreciate you for passing it on.
Don’t think it will work for me. My hair isn’t long enough, eco gel isn’t strong enough and I’m not patient enough 😑 and it’ll shrink as soon as it gets wet or moisturized
Omw 😻 her hair , her skin and her voice are killing me 💖👑she definitely looks like a beautiful African Goddess . I seriously can't wait to try this out with my own hair tomorrow 😵😵😵 😭😭😭
Wow literally yesterday I TH-cam how to do a side part low pony tail on natural hair and your first first video on this came up and I watched that and did my hair yesterday using that first video. It is so coincidental that you just uploaded a new video today on the same style. I love it 👏🏾
Omg I haven't heard about wrapping paper in so long. I remember getting a French roll hairstyle at the beauty shop and they put it on my bang. I knew I was grown 🤣😫💀
A cool trick I was taught by my friend was use a thick piece of fabric, and tie it around your hair rather then using a hair tie, gets rid of all the lumps and humps
I tried this with my medium sized 4b/4c hair and almost cried 😭 because it didn't work. I took my morning out to try this and my hair wasn't taking the hairstyle AT ALL. trust me if you have smoother and more fluffier hair than I have then this hairstyle will work like MAGIC for you.
It works. Just make sure your hair is damp, you use moisturizer and gel, and that you tie it up. It will fluff out as it gets dry. You need to make sure you are combing through your hair as well to get the top flat and out all the fluff in the ponytail
I am so excited to try this . I have seen other videos where they don’t explain throughly and understandable but this video IS IT . I am so excited to try this !!! Thanks so much
I just had my baby and i needed an easier style to do & keep up with outside of 2 strand twist and flat twist! Thank you❤🎉🎉🎉🎉 im starting to feel like me again 🥺❤️
I just thought! You have so much love for your hair. It was like taking a breath of fresh hair watching you. ❤ thank you. If you ever read this plz do tell what products you use here. If you could write them down. Thank you 🙏🏽
Ooooo👀 k I was lowkey highkey trying to figure out what will my next protective style would be and I think I found it 😍😍😍 this look looks so good on you Queeny! Great video as always😃❤️
K it’s not the most protective style but styles that don’t need constant manipulation can be a protective style. Some protective styles can last for 2 months some for less than a week
If only you could see my ponytail right now🤣🤣🤣 my hair definitely wasn’t really hydrated so this is definitely helpful 🙌🏾 I sure will be using these tips
I have the exact same hair texture as you and I’ve been trying to figure out what hair type I have cause it seems like I have multiple like yours lol!!!! Thank you for this tutorial❤️
Definitely going to try this look on Easter Sunday! I love a sleek ponytail with a deep side part. But I haven’t used this method. Now I’m excited to try. Thank you! 🤗
Thank you so much Queen, this is about to be my birthday hair for today and I’m going to film it too! So I hope you’ll eventually check it out and give me some pointers!
thank you so much!! this was so helpful considering i wanted to switch up the pigtails. i have no gel but this tutorial was easy eitherway i just had to do a little extra work and it looks a bit messy because i didnt use gel but eitherway tysm and i will deffo use this hairstyle again!! ❤️
I love this ur hair is stunning your hair only gets damaged by gell when it stiff and in that state it’s easy for u hair to break so if it’s stick mostrise it or don’t where it stuff for long love the vid 😍 and tutorial i’m doing this hairsyle tommorow 😍🤞🏽
I tried it I actually never done this hairstyle and im in late 30s I give myself b for effort I have to work on my edges and swooping Its too hot for quick weaves and braids can be annoying when I’m in dance class Thank you for helping me do my natural beautiful thick 4 type hair
Beautiful girl. I like to wear my hair is a high and low ponytail but the sides of my hair always freeze up. I’m going to try your approach by sectioning and gel.
We were taught that water was our hairs worst enemy, when really it’s our best friend. The more hydrated your hair is the more it will do what you want it to lol
True, and also we are majority water. Using water on out hair and also drinking a lot of water is very beneficial with certain styles 👌🏾
Who told u that cuz I was taught that water was good for our hair
We grew up listening to that
That’s why my hair is so dry now
@@leahalexandra7309 I suppose In terms of when weve styles our hair and people have stretched/straightened it
I'm so glad you showed this on natural unstraightened state of hair, sometimes the heating on our natural hair is just too much.

Yes!!! I really wanted a slick pony so I had to come to TH-cam to see how I’d do it without putting heat to my hair
@@TheAmya111 same!
Indeed I'm grateful
pro tip: leave ur gel container lid open for a few hrs so that it gets tacky, never fails when i do this style 😊
I’m late but this is sooo smart !!!
It actually works.. you should try it
Off to open my jar of gel 😎
waiiit for how long tho
I did this when I was younger!
Girl I went natural in 2020 I finally mastered a middle part bun and I’m obsessed how my waves be spinning
I love how she starts the video saying “my hair is a bit messy” and there was not one friz lol
Ya'll TH-cam gurus are giving life to my quarantine mind during this covid season. Thanks for keeping me entertained
Onika Pascal I’m so glad 😩❤️ times are rough!!
Water is a great trick to help the hair to lay! I like doing mine on stretched but damp hair. Thorough detangling is essential too. Love this. 😍
I cannot WAIT to try out different styles when I'm done with my transition eeeek
UPDATE: I big chopped in august at 10months post! I’ve got braids I’m rn loving it!
Shan Omg sameee!!
Sameeeeee🥺🥺🥺
Sameeeeeeee 😁
Meee tooooo! Lol
Girl saaammmeeee. I'm so excited 🙌🏾
I tried this style once and I failed 😂but I’ll use your method
Lol oh no 😩 try again!!
I’ve given it so many tries, but I’m gonna do this method too. Lmao I’m praying my hair cooperates, she don’t like me like that😭

As soon as that water hit my head my hair bout to shrink hun 🤣
The moisturizing helps keep it from shrinking
literally😭
I love how gentle you are with your crown .

this spoke to me 😭
This is soo me😢😢
If you can get a gel called gummy. There’s two types one is a wax (edge control) the other is a hair gel. Trust me they work well
You just described my own wahala....
So you do have enough enough issues 🤣
I’m definitely gonna try this on my 4c hair. Never thought to do my pony like this and it’s sooooo cute 😍
This is one of my favorite styles but it gives me so many single strand knots. 😩 You look gorgeous! 😍
So glad I finally found one where they don’t straighten their hair 🥰 I got some 4c clips ins and ima do a big curly ponytail 😊
Stop it i beg thanks
Same
I tried this style before bedtime and I’m going to wear it tomorrow and my hair is shorter than yours so I’m glad that I can still rock it 🥰
Wow I see the difference when you moisturize before molding thank you sweetheart !

The way this video changed my life lol. Been doing this to my hair for years and it’s always my go to and so cute
i've watched u since u defined your curls with vaseline and water😭😭 and sis your hair has grown
I love the emphasis on hydration for smooth styles

I'm transitioning to natural and the lil pony was a struggle. Thanks sis
Used this method and it worked GREAT for me ! Thanks
It’s tedious but the result came out great! I tend to forget to make my hair damp enough and I rush. I’m gonna be honest 😭
The difficult part for me is the swoop 😭
Use edge control it helps it stay well :)
my hair just doesn’t swoop over it just goes straight no matter how hard i swoop it😭
Literally ugh I have to put so many clips
I tried it and it worked now I look really cute
