- The Tour of the Ecrins National Park is also known as the GR54.
It is arguably the best trek in the Alps. It is an incredible walk of
193km (120 miles) around the incomparable Ecrins National
Park in the Southern French Alps. On the way, 14 magnificent
mountain passes are crossed. It is almost certainly the finest
trek that you have never heard of!

Thanks a lot mate much appreciated! The Alps are just a different beast to the Highlands and tbh. Tours like this trip are just demanding. This is when you see ‘film makers’ and people how just like to walk - obviously I am the later one 😂
@@StripeyHatGuynever put yourself down stripey, your content is top notch buddy ✊

@muffinman2889 this one for sure, had just a short travel from the snow/glacier(?) down to the ponds.
@@StripeyHatGuy no worries 👍 look forward to the next one 😎🏴
Good video
Am a handles up and tips down guy with my X-mid, looks awesome how did your sun gloves get on ? Thinking of getting some myself
@@ALLWEATHERRIDERM Hi 👋, yeah it makes so much more sense to me as said, no experience with it myself. Sun gloves are great, midges don’t bite your hands (in Scotland) and I got no skin irritation from my trekking poles! Furthermore I think it feels much colder when the sun gloves are on - I love them, unfortunately in Scotland the use is limited imo
