@TheRaceMonkey Citroën named its first SUV coupe "Basalt" in India to evoke strength, durability, and a rugged nature, drawing inspiration from basalt rock, which is formed from volcanic activity and known for its toughness and resilience. This name aligns with the vehicle's image as a sturdy and reliable SUV, capable of handling various terrains, much like basalt rock withstands natural forces.
I love this car. So minimal and functional. Zero gimmicks, corners cut in the right places and the benefit passed onto the customers with the price. They nailed it!
My only gripe with Citroën is that they gave the under thigh support only on the Turbo Automatic variant. Shame. Either way, the engine is wonderful and that's all I require in a car.
Sirji yeh Scotland wala filter hatao kuch nai dikh raha acche se Dusra k kya ab C3 aircross mai bhi 1.25mm thick sheets ayegi? Second, kya 40k km warranty says that this product isn't fully reliable yet? Asking because I'm considering buying aircross
What a review! Covered all the essentials, like sheet metal quality, driving dynamics, comfort which very less reviewers give importance to. The basalt is a winner product, hope the Indian People show it and the brand citroen some love, now that citroen have all the bases covered.
Rather than knitpicking you spoke the reality citroen's vintage touches are been bashed around by other reviewers imo they are classy, btw subscribed your channel, good to see another real auto enthusiast who values every angle of an automotive ❤
Excellent review in these times of gimmicky charlatans. Totally endorse Citroen as a brand after using the C3 Turbo for 3 months. My other much celebrated car is standing unused ever since I drove the C3 Turbo.
Very good way of presentation..... But i can add 6 '4 person hairline was also not touching at the back seat. Whereas in curvv even 5 '10 person hairline was touching at back. 😄👍
Another video talking about pointless stuff like: color of the car, about seats comfort or the hole too put your smartphone.... but not a word about engine, about fuel consumption, about safety features like track of lines, staying in line or automatic stop before collision, what about car stability on road, what is stop range if you need to make emergency brake if don't want to hit a cow on the road..... I assume this car has more cons than pros... looks great, but overall garbage if you worry about your own safety.
Color grading or something is really unpleasant or very greyish dull looking for some reason. Please consider improving or rectifying it. Otherwise superb review. I do like the Basalt here which seems to be a playbook from Honda Elevate, simple, no nonsense and value for money dropping the features set found in Koreans.
Citroen Engineers be like “Oops team we forgot to add cruise control this time. Hmm……. That’s okay we will add in our products during next vehicle launch” 😂😂😂
Good review but didn't talk much about the heart of the car engine and transmission... If you have mentioned about the engine behaviour at low, mid ends and how gears are reacting in detailed way... that would have been even great 👍
I think Citroen's secret ambition is to fail in the Indian market. In the top Basalt variant : No 360 camera, mediocre audio, no Cruise Control. On top of all this, a 3-cylinder engine. How is this going to compete with Creta ?
Nobody cares how it looks from the front or back, or how it sounds when you shut the trunk -looks are subjective anyway. In the long run, what really matters are the practical aspects: the mileage, safety, and maintenance costs. Are the parts easily available? These are the things that define your experience and satisfaction with the vehicle over the years.
Citroen needs to add few things like rear disc brakes, underbody engine covering, cruise control, 360° Camera, cornering lights and dual channel dash cam. You have pointed out cruise control already Rest they should either come with 1.5 Ltr NA engine for a car of this size. Most won't be willing to go for turbos as repair and maintenance costs might be on a slightly higher side in them . Second option will be to provide full hybrid with 1.2 NA engine if they don't have CNG variant. If possible plz provide 1.2 NA engine drive review with Basalt

Useless & crappy review. Nothing meaningful. It looks like you're speaking from the script, with the right pauses. Driving on the Goa highway, and you're saying it is not smooth road. Whom you're trying to fool here? The video is very dark; I am unsure whether it is poor camera or lousy editing.

No Poordrift music, no intro no fancy editing, just a man and his will to survive, I have subscribed

The orange badge on the edge of green house is representing the engine type of the car and the name basalt itself means a volcanic rock 😂
The only reviewer who pronounced Citroën correctly. Subbed!
Great review!! , is there any difference in driving compared to the c3 aircross?

Nice review man 💯 I hope if we go with Basalt there servicing won't disappoint us in any manner
❤ Thanks for the video and information about the car and you have done a good job. Camera was not clear...
Love the no music and no unwanted edit video. Would've liked it if you added timeline. But way to go!
Finally someone who said he is 5,8 nahi to aajkal sab 6 ft k vlogger hain😅
Such a bold review , well done ! The car is going to be a crowd puller for sure. Welcome to India - Citroen !
Quite a comprehensive one there, lot of insight into what exactly has improved over the C3 aircross. Cheers to many more reviews 🎉
Can people go for 17 inch wheel without impacting suspension and everything else?
Name of your watch? Looks nice

Casio A168
Good to hear someone speaking about technical stuff too. Thanks. All the best 😊
Good one man....freaggin tired of those normal template based reviews....
Would love to see you review the XUV 3X0. Such an elegant and thorough review. Earned a sub!!!
That intro though 🙌🏻🥹😍
But something wrong with colour grading 🤔
And yes it looks more proportionate than curvv

What does IP material mean?
And does Nexon really have hydraulic steering? I thought all current Tata cars are electric power steering systems
Inner plastic?
Interior Plastic material.
Is the car dngine 20% Ethanol ready?
Ofc
Was Waiting for white color basalt .. thanks ❤

Only problem this particular white color car is it feels like taxi/non premium looks due to over black on side panels,
agree, the white one looks like taxi
Not sure why the video is dark and I had a hard time adjusting brightness. Please re-upload the video if possible.

Decent car, but this review seems like a paid review and poor style of talking as well.

Why is the contract so dim?
It's HDR. Your phone probably isn't processing it correctly. I have the same issue on my old galaxy A71
