This is the first time I've seen Bill Burr look intimidated. Can't blame him!
True -- Burr is *always* the alpha in conversations. This was quite possibly the first time I've ever seen him let someone else in the room take over when he (Burr) was mid-sentence. Usually when that happens, he keeps on talking (part of his appeal, I don't have a problem with it) and the other person waits their turn to chime in. Here, Burr was totally giving the right of way to Gretzky each time he wanted to chime in. (not just this clip so much as the entire interview this clip is from)
No intimidation....It's called mutual respect
Gretzky would never say anything to attack Burr.........Burr's wheelhouse is aggressive and boisterous types. Gretzky is the antithesis to this.

I agree with bill, upper deck center ice is the best view. When the islanders played in Brooklyn I’d always get the seats in the same section and would say hi to the same usher every game. It was great! Rarely did I spend over $40 bucks to be at the game.

I used to go to Kings games and I'll never forget the time Gretz go plowed hard open ice and it was sticks and gloves all over the ice the rest of game lol. He was the best but very protected it was kinda a rule back then don't touch #99 or have to deal with problems. My all time second favorite. Burr my all time favorite comedian

What would I do if I won the Stanley Cup? I would take it to an NFL game, MLB game and an NBA game to show them what a real trophy is.
The Oilers beat my Islanders that first year they won the cup. Isles' captain Denis Potvin said he used to play angry. That's how Denis got into competitive mode: He'd be angry at his opponents. He said he could not be angry at Gretzky, though, because it's like "trying to be mad at Gandhi...you just can't."

@@quasidiem99 Depends how you measure athtletiscm. If you measure it buy things like strength, then you are correct. But athletiscm is much more such as vision, processing speed and quickness. For example, if there was a loose puck virtually nobody could beat him to it due to his quickness and anticipation.
@@surry99 "Motor skills, strength, power, agility, speed, balance, coordination, and endurance" - some online reference I found. In my opinion, the more of these you have, the more athletic you are. Gretzky has some of these but not all. Similar to Tom Brady: One of the best QB minds and arms ever, but not overly athletic.

For me, both the NBA & NFL ticket prices for "where I need to sit to beat watching at home" are ridiculously overpriced, whereas the same for MLB & NHL are still reasonable and make sense.

I like Bills podcast and i like t hear him ramble. But when he's solo i feel he lacks direction in conversation, he's constantly trying to think of stuff to talk about.. But you put Bill next to interesting people or friends, it's just way more flowing and organic. One of my favorite people to listen to
