Oras was honestly one of the best pokemon games ive payed. Sure the d/p are good as well as b/w etc. Its just Oras felt like it had so much content worth playing, the gameplay was fun, and its mechanics made it all the more enjoyable.
DAMN dude what i would go back in time to experience this game in its peak again. The online battling, the 12 month pokemon event, the TV episodes in line with the episodes. It was so peak.
Wow, it’s honestly amazing how much Pokémon music can really reach into your heart. Sure there’s good music but there’s also a special kind of good that reaches and gives you a warm hug, ORAS soundtrack definitely makes me cry of happiness.
As somebody who grew up in the early 2000s playing the original GBA versions of these games, the nostalgia hit me like a train. Especially Oceanic Museum at 29:38
Littleroot Town theme brings me back to 2014 when i got my very first own console, the 3ds. That thing for sure contains tons of my happiest memories from my childhood.
I love nostalgia. It puts me in a weak spot and I love using it as like opening a window and breathing in the air or the moments that appear so fresh in my mind as in those moments playing ORAS back in 8th grade. Too bad too much nostalgia isn’t a good thing as it becomes desensitizing and you don’t get the nostalgic factor anymore. But when Nostalgia is in its rawest and un excavated, it hits you with a force that can’t be described. Just that feeling. We all wish to go back for the good times but you don’t want to because of the bad times that followed and that you know of because you went through them already. I just love to be in the feels of living a life that was easier compared to what it is now. If you are 10-15 years old reading this, don’t take your freedom of not doing much as granted. Take the time to play video games with friends. Majority will unfortunately grow out of video games like Pokemon and ROBLOX as my friends did. Hell, even Minecraft too. I’d love for y’all to just have fun and not worry about what life has in store. Just relish in the moment. Don’t overthink it or might ruin it but realize that you are in a moment you’ll want to be in down the line. I’m a college student now. I never quite grew out of my Pokemon shell like most others because others think it’s “childish” but to me, it’s my past and I love that Pokémon was what allowed me to make some great friends in my life. I’ll never let go even after I get my degree. Pokémon isn’t a game, it’s a place of peace and happiness for me.
I just became a dad to a baby boy in August. When I sit daydreaming about all the things I will get to experience again through his eyes as I once did my own has been making me feel nostalgic as hell and yearn to go back and live it all again, playing games, lego, Hot Wheels for hours, staying up late, staying out late on our bikes etc etc. My heart literally aches when I think back too much, but I also wouldn't change a thing. He is the apple of my eye, I can't wait to introduce him to the world of Pokemon and all the things I loved when I was younger, whether he thinks it's old and uncool or not, that will just make me laugh and feel old haha. I know this comment was 10 months ago, just resonated with me so felt the need to add my 2 pence.
Alpha Saphire was the first Pokémon game I got all to myself and didn't have to wait for my sister to finish it. I love it lots so thank you so much for this ^^

listening to this games ost hit the 4th grade inside me, can’t believe it’s been 7 years, I usually clown on Pokémon now but I can’t lie and say it’s done so much for me and was essentially a huge part of my childhood, 200 hours playing with friends at school, at our houses, etc, I love ORAS so much.
This was the first pokemon game I played and this brings tears to my eyes. Its amazing that despite not playing this game for more than 3/4 years, I still remember the songs perfectly.
I remember playing ORAS when I was like 7 or 8, good times and I'll still cherish the game for what it was back then and now. Time flies but listening to this makes me cry with nostalgia. My favorite game in the pokemon franchise.
after listening to soaring illusions, i could not help myself but to open my first pokemon game ever and roam through the skies on mega latias... thank you pokemon oras. you made my childhood.
It’s absolutely criminal that the southern island is unaccessible after u get ur respective eon duo mon. All jokes aside, it feels so magical there, visually and musically.
After listening to this, nostalgia hit me like crazy. My very first game of any sort i played. Little me was only 7... Oh i played for hundreds of hours, and this remids me that not a single one was wasted! Thank you.
made me tear up :’) I played emerald for so many hours of my life as kid, I still remember all the notes to most of these, the remasters make me cry even more, so cinematic even for a stupid little video game that I played as a child, I’m 22 now
Same. Makes you wish you could relish more of the moments you had playing the game and realize that the time spent on the game, won’t be spent so freely as we did so in the past.
Alpha Zapphire has been my first Pokemon game, one of the most beautiful games I have ever played. These soundtracks remind me some beautiful memories, especially the moment when I caught Kyogre and when I beated Steven only with two pokemons (Blaziken and Kyogre) in my team because the other ones were K.O... I love Hoenn and I hope Game Freak will make another third gen's remake
Probably my all time favourite. Forget the dynamax and stuff bring back the magic of exploring and mega evolution! Thanks for this great video of memories!
I know its not the best game ever but holy fk man the content in this game especially the gimmicks and the OSTs and also the memories i made while playin this game it will always be the best. ORAS is the best
I love gen 3, it's by far my favorite region. I can't say I love ORAS as much as I would have liked to, bc of the lackluster content after the delta episode imo. I loved the battle frontier and since HGSS added stuff from crystal I had my hopes high that they would add emerald content too. Apart from that, it was a fun game, I loved shiny hunting in it, but as an emerald fanboy, I always get a little sad thinking about what could have been.
Pokemon Ruby Sapphire and Emerald aswell as ORAS will be games that I remember for the rest of my life. The most fun ive had with pokemon ever and the most memorable games

ORAS is the best set of games after Gen 3, objectively. Hoenn is true Pokemon. There is something about it that the others fail to touch. There is pure magic to that region, art style, music etc. It was the absolute best package of Pokemon games when it came out. Back when GF cared about their fans and the games as a whole.
True, for me Hoenn is the best region, because of the pokemons of the region, (almost) all characters were really good, the Delta episode was so cool, the region itself and the musics were insane too
