@@ajh22895 Once when I was playing Gitrog Monster, I was rather nervous, so an opponent thought I was new, and made me play out each loop. His realization that I was just nervous but knew what was going on was very satisfying.
The narrator's voice makes me feel like this is a safe place but the gameplay makes me feel like Julius Ceaser being surround by 30 people with knives.

@@hugenerd8994 I love Command Zone content, but there have been a few games where one person is def in the lead for the whole thing, one person is completely out of the game due to mana issues, and one person wins the game in the last turn. They are still my personal favorite gameplay videos though. Playing with power is amazing for its own reasons.

@@Tvboy777 yea totally man, playing with 60 cards because including 20 stax staples & 19 counterspells is so interactive. 99% of these decks wont even need a commander, since it used to be fetch para engine and the rest of the default combos. 'cEDH' isnt a thing, and shouldnt be a thing. Most of these games are 1v1's in a multiplayer game, people focussing each other out of spite. Lemme bring my decree of silence + solemnity & 30 counterspells because according to you that is 'interactive'.
I like that too. It's always like "out of counters already?" and then they respond "I'm just getting started" and play some tutor/draw/card selection spell to keep digging for more.
As a new player, I really appreciate you showing the stack and how and when each card resolves. The stack and priority are the things I'm still struggling to get down, so it's really cool to see it laid out and explained clearly.
@@GPyrrosTM but it wasn't, which is the point. Cedh gets the bad rep among the crowd that's unfamiliar with the format that it's just about going off as fast as possible, without taking the immense interactivity of the format into consideration.

But yes a competitive deck vs another competitive deck will have tons of interaction and thus make the game worth playing and fun. Its when a competitive deck goes up against an unsuspecting more casual deck and the casual player finds themselves in an auto lose situation. That is where cedh gets its bad rep.
Your videos are pretty good, the most important thing about edh games on YT is how clear it is for the viewers to see what's happening on the board and you're doing it really well.
Kudos to everyone from Playing With Power MTG. Your cEDH content is unbeaten, both in terms of presentation, narration, pace, entertainment value and power level. A few other channels comes close, but this is just so professional and entertaining at the same time. Each game seems to be even more so than the last, and this game tops everything. This game was insane! It's somewhat satisfying to watch fully tuned competitive decks revert to swinging in with whatever they can manage to land on the field.
@@MrEliakimRAS yeah I just dont get it. I mean they got a LOT of issues. 1.) The game last for 3 turns then you shuffle again 2.) Infinite combo 3.) Price is outrageous They are very salty when someone do infinite combo with 2 cards, but the irony is that they also run infinite combos in their deck and when they pull it off its like they are sooooo glorified about themselves. I just really dont get it why they hate it when they do infinite too. I just stop talking and playing with them, honestly I find them being HYPORCRITE. Cry babies and salty people.
JaceMD015 it requires a totally different type of deck building where interaction is key to stopping that 2 card turn 3 combo. Everyone has to be ready to interact and most people just don’t build decks that way casually.

I’ve played and watched a ton of cEDH since I first watched this 2 years ago. I watched it again today, and I think it’s still the best cEDH game I’ve ever seen.

Even though they said this was filmed while Anje was brand new, I’m so used to webcam Magic that I was shocked when Folger reached out to shake hands with Ryan.
I loved the anje deck because it suprised me so much. I always had in mind that madness cards were pretty shit. So i never really thought about just filling your whole deck with them, to cycle to your wincon. It also just looked really fun to play. With the plan Z beatdown :P

I think this is the best EDH game I've watched online. It's ridiculous how interactive all four decks are, and how different as well.
