Butch Davis’ coaching staff that year included: Todd Bowles Chuck Pagano Faze Fazio and as Offensive Coordinator…some guy named: BRUCE ARIANS and the Browns had only been back in the NFL 4 SEASONS!
Now that the NFL schedules only division matchups on the final weekend of the season, we'll never see any of the volatile minute-by-minute action that used to play out those multi-tiered playoff scenario games in that last week where there would be these oddball matchups like this one. (Check out the "score more points" real-time race that happened on the final weekend of 1999 if you're really curious.) There were some unwatchable games; Colts-Bucs in '91 I recommend if you REALLY want to watch some bad football:)
Bryan finner when I used to play ESPN 2 k 4 football with warren Sapp on the cover he hardly ever caught a pass I threw to him this 2back in 2006 2007 I just ran the ball or drew up plays in the back field and man that ESPN update score sound was classic

If you're wondering why Im watching this in 2023, its because its my roman empire
Fun fact- if the Browns don't make that goal line stand, Denver would have made the playoffs.
Well the falcons would’ve still needed to recover an onside kick and score another touchdown in :31
@@RomesThe59 either way, this game was the difference between CLE/DEN getting in.
I was at this game :^)
Me too! Great game
Saw this one live. Later that day, the New York Jets defeated the Green Bay Packers to help the Browns secure the No. 6 seed in the AFC Playoffs.
21:03 Say it with me Browns fans......."RUN WILLIAM RUN!!!!!"

Dwayne Rudd saved the game.
Kinda ironic: He costs us the first regular season game and he saved the last.
