Big Fin whale passes under a boat - Baltimore Sea Safari

A Fin whale approaches and passes under Baltimore Sea Safari during a whale watching boat trip in West Cork, Ireland. Fin whales can be up to 25m (80ft) in length, weigh up to 80,000kgs (80)tons and are the second biggest mammal on the planet, and the fastest whale in the ocean. We were drifting off Baltimore Harbour watching a Fin whale feeding, when it decided to approach our boat and dive beneath us. We usually see Fin whales off Baltimore and West Cork from late August until late November.
