RIP Bernard Cribbins who plays Wilfred Mott, aged 93. Very fortunate that he was up to playing his role one more time last year for this weekend's special before his passing. One of my all time favourite roles.
I think he’s in the Giggle as well, as they were filming during the daytime in a “Plane crash” scene.

The Tylers, the Joneses, and the Ponds are all great, but the Nobles are absolutely my favorite family in all of Doctor Who. I’m so excited that we’re seeing them again tomorrow!

The final shot of Wilf saluting The Doctor, with Vale in the background, is one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking scenes in the entire show, in my opinion.
We'll look forward to seeing him one last time.

Who would have thought the Tenth Doctor's interactions with Donna and Wilfred prior to Series 4 would set up two of the greatest companions in the entire show. I give a pat on the back to Sylvia too.

Bernard Cribbins must have been one hell of an actor- his scenes with the Doctor are incredible! What a lovely man.
Honestly the Nobles we're class in every way, Wilf deserved a run in the Tardis when think about it, as a character he'd seen so much with the End of Time being his finest story, also if you didn't cry during the wedding scene, you aren't human. Genuinely intrigued to see how they all play their part, will feel hard with Bernard Cribbins recent passing.

That final scene in the churchyard is why I'm not ready for the 60th anniversary specials. Knowing that they'll be Bernard Cribbins' last ever TV appearances, it might break me all over again. That churchyard scene did.
Mr Cribbins is sorely missed, but don't forget he was in Daleks' Invasion Earth 2150 A.D. in 1966
Bernard Cribbins was SUCH a good actor, So natural. That scene with him and David in the cafe might be my favourite New Who scene… So moving. RIP Bernard. I think he might get the first special dedicated to him….
I forgot Donna’s Dad died. RIP to him. Wilf was a wonderful character to replace him though. RIP Bernard Cribbins.
The big secret is that RTD wanted the Nobles to be The Doctor's long lost family from Gallifrey, but he never pulled the trigger. Re-watch episodes from Series 4 and The End of Time with this idea in mind and it's all there. The only thing missing is a scene where Wilf looks at his old fob watch.

Bernard Cribbins is the heart and soul of this video! I am so very happy that he was able to participate in the 2023 specials as his career finale! He will always be the voice of The Wombles to me, and his essential community shines through eternally

Turn Left is always such a depressing episode but some of the moments the Nobles had together were so warm and comforting even in dire times, and it shows that even with all the bickering and warring personalities they do care about one another, glad to see the new series got that right too.

DUH... slapping my forehead... just got the dialog connection between when the 10th Doctor first meets Donna... and keeps saying: "What?!" ... and then when he comes back as the 14th Doctor and AGAIN keeps saying... "What?!". 😅
Wilfred Mott and Donna Noble - two of the greatest Doctor Who characters. Sylvia Noble - one of the worst.

Amen Doctor! That was the one nice she thing she ever said about Donna, and it wasn’t even to her. I hope she finally says something nice to her daughter in the upcoming anniversary specials. Donna is the best!

Bernard Cribbins, star of the Carry On films and, of course, “Daleks - Invasion Earth - 2150 AD”, a film adaptation of The Dalek Invasion of Earth directed by Gordon Flemyng.
Cribbins was apparently only supposed to be a guest spot for Voyage of the Damned, but it so happened that the actor who played Donna’s father passed away while filming Series 4, so it was rewritten that the character Cribbins played was Donna’s grandfather.
I wish the lottery scene in the church yard had started just a little sooner--when the Doctor explains where he got the money (instead of awkwardly in the middle of his sentence like that).

The Noble family is by far the best of new who. Sylvia was always my favorite out of the moms. She was hard on Donna, but she loves her. An like Donna with her daughter. Sylvia would descended to protect Donna.

I tried watching Doctor Who on Amazon Prime in preparation for the 60th anniversary. (That's the distributor for the NuWho seasons from Eccleston to Capaldi in Canada) but holy hell the picture quality was awful. What the hell went wrong?

Yeah do we know who the old man was who walked donna down the aisle in the christmas episode? Like im not gonna complain it wasnt wilfred because that entire storyline wasnt thought of yet but who was je?
Yes, we do. It was Geoffrey Noble, Donna’s dad. All explained in the episode itself.
That was Donna's father, played by Howard Attfield. RTD intended to bring him back in Series 4, but sadly he passed away in late 2007, and RTD chose instead to bring back Bernard Cribbins, making him Donna's grandfather.
Donna says in Turn Left "I wish dad was here with us", so he passed away between the Runaway Bride and series 4.
Watching the 60th anniversary episode. It's boring and VERY woke. Doctor Who is now dead.
yeah yeah you aint foolin us its been off so long most people have forgotten it already but those of us whovians from 60s onward remember it and how you had to bring who back lets admit it you piggyback of the most popular ctor of the time but have to all this remembrance of former popular actors to lead us to a no mark that nobodies ever heard of and is not the man of our times by any measure of past whos so who is this guy who nneeds all this hype i got a feeling you have misjudge your audience again i look forward to not seeing the show for another five years after this hype attempt to lead us like sheep fails person who should be the next doctor should have been tom hardy just my humble opinion i know they care not of a singleton but theres my view ok
