I always play under the heavy setup with my suits. I always play as Zeon and its alot harder to complete the Zeon campaign. Ive raged quit this game several times in the harder difficulties and some of these missions.
Yea Zeon campaign is hard as hell! I played it and got my ass beat in some of the mid-late missions. Might be because the federation suits are more balanced in their stats, whereas the zeon suits are generally weaker overall but cheaper I think? The objectives are harder imo as well. For instance the military base defense mission is replaced with much harder attack and intercept missions in the zeon campaign, which were probably the worst missions for me. Only a few zeon suits can match the federation suits, which are the best zeon suits that you get late and shell out a lot of money for, my favorite being the Kampfer.
I own this game and have owned it for years. Now you want a proper mulitplayer version of this that's been updated and fixed....play Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 on PS4. The controls and gameplay and interface is almost identical to MSG Crossfire.
The font they use for the narration is quite a bit out of place, it's more something you would use in an educational game for young children. Like MechWarrior, but Gundam and 3rd person only.

When I see that the player can use the Zaku Bazooka, I say "it's the best option to do more damage" and I think I was right XD

gbo 2 is cool, but this feels more realistic
I honestly can not stand GBO/GBO2. Gundam 0081 felt like a far better game. Uses many aspects of Crossfire. GBO just doesn't compare to 0081.
@@Alte.Kameraden Side Stories is also a good one.
