So for a while I’ve been wanting to get a Tesla for myself just because it’s my dream car currently and your videos are always so awesome to see with all of the locations that you go to for traveling and camping and just seeing how you do everything with the supercharging locations and just you Explaining your day through every video it just keeps me motivated to have that lifestyle of a EV car owner. I’ve been wanting to do road trips for a while but I know it’s gonna be more efficient to drive an electric vehicle and I love Tesla as a brand itself and again huge fan and I just love every video that you post and I’ve been saving all of your links of the items that you use so that I may use for my future trips! @@bryanhauer I do have one question. So I have a friend in South Carolina that I want to visit once I do get my Tesla, and my only question is what covering do you put in the back of your car? Like I know that you pack all of your stuff in the back by putting the pass passenger seats folded all the way down and you put some sort of covering to protect the seats, and I was wondering what covering do you use?
@andrewgil9707 Hmmm 🤔 Trying to think what you mean. I don’t use any type of covers on the seats. I have a mattress I use back there for sleeping. Is that what you mean?
@@bryanhauer so you know how you have floor mats on the front of the car to protect any like dirt or residue from getting on the car?, i’ve seen other videos from other Tesla owners that put that same material of the floor mats but it’s a mat that’s designed for the back of the car to protect the seats from getting scratches if they makes sense. By the way love the mattress that you have. I’m looking into investing in that kind of mattress once I do get my Tesla and do road trips. But yeah that’s the kind of floor mat im talking about

Just a quick word of advice… I have learned when the AT&T signal is down I turn my Verizon phone into a hot spot and connect my Tesla to my phone to use the mapping feature’s of the Tesla

Hail in Colorado is my biggest concern driving a Tesla, I know the body work is expensive and my last car had some bad hail damage. The last hail storm we got maybe 20 miles from where you were in this video was enough require my roof get replaced. Hail damage per capita in Colorado is higher than anywhere in the country.
Navigation. If it were critical to have navigation up in a location that ATT has no signal, you can hotspot to the phone. That’s how I used to do all my updates before having home Wi-Fi.
I picked up my Tesla Model Y in Denver last week after this storm, and there were many hail damaged cars at the Tesla delivery center in Aurora.
Hey Bryan, another great video! Just curious, what did you think about FSD during the free 30 day trial? We used it on a trip to Colorado and was pretty impressed on the highway and even in and around Denver. It wasn’t perfect but I’d say we had it on about 90% of the time. Still, at $99/mo, it’s just kind of an expensive party trick. Any predictions on how soon you think Tesla will crack the code on FSD and it becomes as ubiquitous as air conditioning in a car? Or is this just another crazy idea that’ll never work, like landing rockets vertically? 😀
This is a video I'm actually working on right now. I will say this... I used to say FSD Beta wasn't worth it and was more of a novelty thing to show friends, but rarely was useful. The recent FSD Supervised has completely changed the game. It's much better and I now use it daily with most drives having zero interventions. Again, it's not perfect and I wouldn't trust it to drive while I was sleeping, but it's a huge improvement and kind of caught me by surprise. I see them cracking the code a lot sooner than I would have thought a few months back. More to come on this topic though... Appreciate you watching and for the comment 😀
Great to see a video of yours again! The hail storm was thankfully mild. I experienced once way back here in Europe a hailstorm with hail the size of pingpong balls. Back then I was thnkfully not in my car but many cars got completely wrecked with many many dents all over.

The Model YP I ordered around the time of the fire ended up there during that event. Ended up holding off on that Y and getting one a bit later.
