Thanks Nick, appreciate the comment Definitely reaping the rewards. It's a fine example for a 56 year old vehicle that's for sure! See you on the next one legend 🤙😎
Your doing such an awesome job Rob, your XTs is in great condition and your quality work is going to preserve it for many years to come. I'm looking forward to seeing you laying down the epoxy soon. Thanks again Rob for the RestoHub tee-shirt, I'm a happy chappy 🙂
Thanks Warren! You and me both, I'm starting to get sick of looking at this clean metal and keen to see the red epoxy on it 😂 Glad you like the teeshirt mate. See you on the next one legend 🤙😎
Haha, we're close Frank! 😂 You might have to come on down and make an appearance in one of the next episodes doing what you do best 😉 See you on the next one legend. 😎🤙
Thanks for the comment James, appreciate the idea. You got me thinking there, so I just rechecked the TDS of the epoxy I shoot (RestoFinish 2k Epoxy Primer), and they call it an anti-corrosive zinc phosphate coating, which is pretty much what an acid etch also contains from my understanding. Let me know your thoughts? Thanks again for the comment, and see you on the next one 😎🤙
Thanks for the comment Lesley. Yes, chemical dipping is available here, although not an option as the car is only going to have the engine bay, undercarriage and boot restored/repainted (for now/phase 1). The exterior is pretty good, but will eventually undergo the full bare metal treatment. I'll get it back on the road first and after a year or so will come off the road for the exterior freshen up. Thanks again, and see you on the next one 😎🤙
You are doing a great job but get rid of that brain dead anoying background noise that you think is music. Do you get paid to put that clicking, banging drum noise in?What is the purpose of it? Your video is interesting .Do you want your viewrs to listen to the background noise or to you?
@@RestoHubAUThank you,for replying to my comments.I would prefer to not hear any music or background noise..I enjoy watching the restoration process and listening to your explanation as I do in any other youtuber's similar videos.Any music or sound effects to me are just a distraction.I turn the sound off but it is not the same then.I have made similar comments to other youtubers and to my surprise, some of them actually dropped the music. I suppose your question would be "Will your followers still watch your videos without music/background noise?" No one seems to be mentioning it in the comments." Did you put music in because other people do?. . Re: what to do re: time lapse speeded up etc. Some people just record all the hammering, scrapping, drilling grinding etc and leave it speeded up in the time lapse,That works for me ..Thanks for listening and again, I am impressed by the quality of your work on the Falcon.. Richard.
Thanks Richard. I appreciate your honesty and the time you've taken to put your feedback forward. I can understand that the genre of music may not be appealing to some of my audience, and I've been looking at changing it to a soft rock style. I don't think I will be switching the music off totally, but I've been open to changing it up to appeal more towards my viewers demographics/etc. I hope you continue to watch when I switch up the music to the rock genre. But if you really can't stand any music at all then I understand if you choose not to watch in future. It would be a shame to lose a viewer, but I don't think I can produce anything with no background music at all.
Thanks, for yourr thoughts re:your plans for changes in your car restoration viideos..I will continue to watch your progress with the XT Falcon with or without the sound for now. Regards, I had a 1965 XP 200 Cubic Inch,Ford Fairmont Estate ,Borg Warner automatic, electric tail gate,14 inch wheels, etc which I bought for 750 dollars back in 1977. Regards,Richard.

use etching primer anywhere that has surface rust before the epoxy primer
Thanks for the comment James, appreciate the idea.

Chemical dip would be better if that could be done in AU. Acid gets insige the box channels
Thanks for the comment Lesley.

What sort of music would you like to hear, specifically in the time-lapse segments?
