Andy is the reason why dongle dac companies today are tuning their dongles to the analogue side. Which is very nice in such a compact and portable size. Because of his transparent review and being objective in this field, we can trust this guy because he has many high-end IEMs and headphones to test dongles if they were good or not. Especially iBasso which I think they released their best dongle yet because they saw that Andy isn't satisfied LOL. So I highly recommend his channel and encourage everyone who are an audiophile like me to subscribe. So that he can review more of this stuff. Anyways, my ONIX alpha is on the way and I'm really excited because it is my first bang for the buck high-end dac. So I thank you very much Andy for your enthusiasm in this hobby❤.
I like your new format - but I also appreciate your old format also. Maybe what we need is two reviews - a quick one like this, and an extended one like the old style
Thanks, I am looking for a concise content delivery without wasting my audiences time with unnecessary chit-chat. A combination of both styles would be perfect
Love the review! The Nicehck F1 Pro was my first IEM and I have grown to love it even more as I have acquired other IEMs. Its rugged construction allows me to feel confident when using it outdoors while still giving me great performance. Even with just an Apple dongle I have had moments where I had to stop what I was doing to really enjoy the micro detail and staging presented. It also sounds amazing with another Andy approved product, the Onix Alpha XI1. Thanks again for reinforcing why I love this set so much!
I bought the F1 Pro as an upgrade to my EW200, and within 3 days I quickly ditch the EW200 due to how exceptional this thing is. I got it for ~$65, which is already a steel for the price, and it provide a good selection of ear-tips, a nice cable as well as an okay carrying case (at least better than the EW200 so far) For the build and fit, it isn’t heavy at all and very sturdy, with decent fit just like you said (on more of the swallow side for me) Regarding tuning, it’s perfect for orchestral/ost type of music with a bonus of good male and female vocals. For the bass, I find it to be somewhat less bassy than the EW200 (idk why) and quite on par with the beloved 7hz Zero (although the bass does hit faster, tighter and less rumble). Concerning the mids, I find it quite laid-back for male vocals and a bit forward with female vocals, which fits my J-Rock and J-Pop list exceptionally well. Finally, in terms of treble, the detail that this thing can pull out from string instrument is amazing, and the soundstage is immersive enough that I can feel lost in the music. I do notice some sibilances in the upper-treble thou (probably in that 8k peak) but a deep insertion with the CP145 fixes it all, unlike the harsh treble of the EW200 despite trying all kinds of tip rolling. Really happy with the F1 Pro and now I’m currently aim for the Hexa before I end my journey. Thanks for reading and have a nice day!
I recently stumbled upon your channel and was really torn between getting the NiceHCK F1 Pro for my first iem, mainly for gaming and some music. Good thing I watched your review as you opened my eyes regarding some confusing feedback I got from just reading through forums. I've been binge watching your other stuff as well. Thanks so much! ps: Just ordered the F1 pro, excited to get into the hobby
@@donglemadness I just received my F1 pro and damn I must say they're so much better compared to my gaming headset and earphones. I noticed the sound varies depending on the tips being used, which tips do you recommend to use for these? ps: I'm so glad I found your channel ❤
I got F1 pro n KZ PR3, wen I use final audio type E eartips with kz PR3 n powered by ibasso dc04 pro. I find almost similar to F1 pro. I may sell or kept aside KZ PR3 due to its overly technical performance with cause sibilant but with such arrangement I like it alottttt.😊
I had to choose between F1 pro and ARTTI T10 planar i went with ARTTI T10, thanks for the review Andy 👍🏼, all reviews i watched said F1 is like planar sound and ARTTI T10 more leaning towards dynamic driver I'm big fan of dynamic 😂
Never thought that you would review this pair, the F1 pro is my second pair of iems after a long year with my first pair 7hz Zero. I really enjoy the sound the accessories it came with in the box, the metal shell and beautiful blue look is a big plus why I prefer the F1 pro over the white, cheap plastic looking shell of the ARTTI T10 (knowing that ARTTI is cheaper and sound about the same if not better). I use it with the new dongle champ: Onix Alpha and the quality I get from this combo is like rainbow🌈 in audio form. I also played cyberpunk2077 with this iems, a very immersive experience in my perspective. I like that you are experimenting with new ways to put together a video, it feels faster pacing somehow, looking forward to more vids from your channel.

@@donglemadness I saw Depeche Mode on the Ultra and Momento Mori tours and The Cure on the Wish tour. Sad I didn't see The Cure on this last tour, but I didn't find out in time. If you haven't, try listening to Chelsea Wolfe!

For under $60, my recommendations would be Fosi DS2 or iBasso DC03Pro, or you can go cheaper as low as $5 for Venture Electronics ODO, phonmenal performance for dirt cheap dongle
It depends on what you like, different tuning. S08 is for people who love smooth warm sound, F1 Pro is for people who love energetic bright sound, not a question of which one better over the other, it's all about what you like more personally
Your choice just the two? both are already amazing. Wide sound you get from DC04Pro, clear details a bit more from RU6. So if you can get ONIX Alpha or iBasso DC07Pro, you get clear details and wide open soundstage
No, DC04Pro offers more open and wider sound than the R2R RU6, I already mentioned, you want soundstage width you go for DC04Pro, you want a bit more details you get RU6
I have Android 13 running on my phone so I came to know that it automatically resamples the audio quality down So does an external DAC overwrite that software processing and give me high res audio becasue my phone's own DAC does not do that or will it be just a waste of money because I have subscribed to Apple Music Lossless but directly plugging my IEMs to phone's DAC is not making a difference. Try to reply please Thanks!
An external DAC with proper App can overcome Android 13 resampling for true Bitperfect output. You need a player like HIBY Music App or UAPP or even Tidal native app which all offers USB Exclusive mode. I don't use Apple Music so I have no idea if it offer USB Exclusive mode. But then, a good dongle even running in stock Android SRC will still be a better experience especially for streaming music because generally the resolution is not that high anyway unless you are looking at local FLAC or DSD playback

You must consider my personal sound preferences. Normally KZ house sound is not something I like, but D-Fi, ZVX and Krila are tuned nothing like a KZ house sound, they resemble the flatter close to neutral target which is aligned with Tanchjim ZERO/Etymotic sound. I don't recommend them to you because if you are not familiar with the flatter sound of Etymotic, it is always better to stick to KZ house sound which you seem to be familiar with
