today i receive my NICEHCK MixPP 6N OCC cable in 4.4mm BAL, officially using 4.4 mm port with SC5P on Onix now. Previously I was on high gain with 3.5mm jack, and now switching to 4.4mm jack with low gain, i felt that it is now more comfort to my hearing. Overall I also felt more cleaner and more relax in this configuration. I am on Tidal now listening to Andy EF Testing music playlist with this configuration. I am not young any more, just discover this now at my mid age, I am very glad and grateful to your hard work and manage to introduce me into your world of listening. Audio can be such high resolution and colorful.
Thanks. With the advancement we have today, beautiful music is much more accessible than ever. Running 4.4mm BAL makes perfect sense if you have a DAC/Amp that has both 4.4 and 3.5, because the 100% power is always on the 4.4mm side, with 3.5mm only limited to 50% - SC5P being highly scalable, you are hearing the full potential of your setup now

I haven't ordered this Star City 5 Pro yet, but I did get the Kefine Delci and you were absolutely right about that one. Its technical performance is pretty damn good for a single DD, the soundstage is spacious, and the tuning is fantastic for my taste. It's just so musical and enjoyable.
Hi andy. Will SC5pro handle drums in rock songs better than delci? You mentioned delci has a lot of sub bass. I am worried it will make it muddier and sluggish. Overall which one is better for hard rock songs? Thanks
Delci does offer a bit more of Subbass, also overall richer in mass for Bass in general compared to SC5P, but it is not muddy at all, smooth yes. SC5P on the other hand offers less in Bass volume/mass but it has faster transient speed and the attack crisper, more tactile. As a Metalhead I personally prefer the more tactile Midbass of SC5P
I purchased this iem based on your review. I am very satisfied, this punches way above its price. Except a bit more treble extension would have been great. But that’s a very minor thing to me.
I wish you can compare it with Sonus and Hexa one day since those two are the direct competition to the SC5 Pro, tho I'm already sold with this video alone, great review as always
Andy, i have a Shanling UP4 version 2022, is that enough to drive the Artti T10? And what do you prefer between the T10, Delci, and Klanar?thanks Andy, how would you compare the Klanar to the Simgot EW200? I had that last one but sold it because there was something in the treble department that sounded harsh or overly bright to me, like metallic sounding. Also after i eq’d it, so then better leave the Klanar out?
I never tried UP4 and T10 so really I have no idea on them. Between Delci and Klanar, both are tuned differently to serve different taste, if you like relaxed smooth bassy sound, Delci, if you want faster dynamic transient and transparency, less bassy, then Klanar
Hi am fan of yor analyzing techniques, based on you rating i have decided to purchase simgot lm,could you please sugeest simgot ea 500 lm or rose starcity ,
Thanks, we are talking about two very closely matched IEMs here, so both are excellent for what they do. I personally prefer SC5P more because it offer a bit more of transient speed which also means it handle the pace and rhythm at faster agility than EA500LM, and this also means EA500LM would appear a bit warmer with the upper Mids to Treble and denser lows (more prominent Subbass). Which one to go for, this is entirely on your personal sound preferences, like I said both are closely matched with minor differences here and there, I tend to categorize SC5P a bit closer to neutral target and EA500LM a bit more colored, factor that too.
So according to chart is not superior to The Tanchjim Zero or Etymotic ER2XR, cant decide wheterto order or not, on the other hand still encourage you to try Yu9 Audio 554/6. Great video and I hope you’re enjoying this, as much as we do
Tanchjim ZERO is a special case, a rating which is heavily biased by my personal fondness to it, but yes until today I am loving what ZERO has to offer. ER2XR on the other hand is legendary, for anything to touch the level of what Etymotic offers is already an achievement in itself
SIE offers different tuning, SIE is strongly Mids centric with very rich and dense sound texture, colored. SC5P is more transparent and closer to neutral target. So it's not about better or not, just different
Thanks for the review! Coincidentally i was looking to buy the exact pair yesterday but couldn't find many reviews. How do they compare on details with em6l, hexas and ea500lm?
No worries. I have mentioned the comparison with EA500LM in the comparison section in brief. SC5P in my opinion is more technical than both Hexa and EM6L overall, resolves macro details slightly better than those two, but HEXA does offer a bit more of airy decays and EM6L denser and bassier with the lows
Delci is warmer and slightly colored, smoother with Mids, SC5P is transparent and more accurate. So I guess Delci would suit your taste better, it is also smoother than EW200 just a bit more
@@donglemadness Hey Andy, I was a bit stuck between the Delci's and the Hexas for my use (natural, clear vocals) and I wanted to see if you could rec between these 2 IEMS? I also understand the Delci is quite a bit cheaper right now. Either that would be better for male R&B-like vocals? Was looking for organic sounding while still being clear and maybe just slightly forward while not being changed too much by the tuning of the IEM.
Eartips will differ from one person to another, while I use KZ foam tips which works the best for me, the same ear tips may not work at all for others, so my advise on this is to try to see which one works best to your ear ergonomics
