    I have a 175c loader, best piece of equipment iv ever had, dt466 powered, will start with the temps in the teens without either, and when it starts it runs smooth as silk and does not even have a haze coming out the stack, caterpillar couldn’t dream of that type of engineering lol
    International Harvester out did them selves on the td15/175, true American know how and iron, will still move dirt with the best of them today.
    Looking good as always Frank, keep putting out the content.

    Marveling at how clean the tracks are as you pulled it onto the trailer... which reminds me I need to wash my 125c down today and make sure the track bolts are intact & in place. Your repair videos have helped me immensely as I learn how to deal with my ancient 455c backhoe & 125c loader.

    That big ol clump was a real bugger. Thought it was going to try and sneak the root ball up under the blade. Fine display of skill as always.

    TD15 stuff sums this up perfectly Frank !!
    Lil' Red pulling your dad's dozer around the back roads with ease, then watching you pull and push the trees and scrub about the field, the big tree put up a canny fight against you !!!

    Another great video, Frank. I bet you were real happy when that big tree gave up the fight-some of those branchs lookd a bit too close for comfort !!

    nice W900 . Sounds a bit better on top end than it did looping over the washboard. Bet that was a bumpy ride ...

    Have sat in the seat of 3 x TD 15s for over 20,000hrs, did over 6,000hrs on each from new, great dozers, well balanced, good ground clearance and very zippy with plenty of grunt.

    nice looking machine, my dad bought a brand new TD20c in 1972 looks almost exactly like it, except for the instrument panel, same cab and sweeps though. looks like you need a new set of tracks, or at least pads.

    Dang Frank I didn’t know you were still working on your own dozer. It’s been kind of sporadic update on the motor and transmission.

    • @Digginok
      @Digginok  2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      This is an older video, It was in February. The td8 is running better than me, I’m trying to get some videos out. The balance of working videos and rebuild videos is kinda hard to get right. I hope to get the remaining rebuild videos out soon. In the mean time I may throw some more videos of jobs out, I don’t know. Editing is a lot more work than actually doing work if ya know what I mean. I do appreciate you watching.

    Man maybe you can help me out. My wife’s papas just gave me one like this and it’s been sitting a while. I got a couple of decent batteries so I can try and crank it, but I can’t figure out how (haven’t spent a lot of time trying) to get the seat lifted up to get the batteries changed out. Can you help explain how to do this? Thanks in advance!
    Great vid by the way.

    Frank… even with twice the horsepower, those gnarly tree clumps gave that dozer a workout. I bet the TD8 was glad to get a pass on this job!
    I was 19 in ‘73… you’ve proven that was a time when machines were built tough. But times were pretty tough also. Tough machines find a way to survive…. So far I’m still makin’ it too!
    Is that the dozer you learned on?

    • @Digginok
      @Digginok  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The governor is a bit off on this one. We usually run a bit lower than full throttle.

      @jefferyclark3501 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Digginok nice video. My Dad used to run an old td15 and they had to run it less than full throttle or it would spin a bearing. Probably had the same governor issue that your dad's does. Little Red got a good workout hauling the 15.
