Preston Innovations Absolute D36 Seat Box leg fix😍 scratched legs?? Not anymore👏🏼 only £7💪🏼

Anybody owning a seat box with painted legs knows the struggle. Chipped paint from the attachments makes the newest of boxes look tired. I’m a huge fan of the black legs on the Absolute stations and even having them Powder coated in the past they never hold the paint on.
So in a bid to keep the box original and save it’s appearance I’ve taken off the black tights for good!
A 600ml bottle of Dial paint and varnish remover, a bit of wire wool and some scraping have given the box a bit better presentation.
Easy and quick fix and definitely worth doing.

This is exactly why I avoided seatboxes with coated legs. I don't get it, why they paint it black instead of eloxating the aluminium (that would never come off and you'd need to scratch it deeply to get through the colored layer). basically the whole seatbox is aluminium anyways.

Can’t be doing with scratched legs lol. I never filmed it but I polished a spare one on the fabric wheel and it was mirror chrome. Definitely will burn holes in your legs on a hot day🤣🤣
