I looked up the African Botanics mask and it’s actually for all skin types! The description specifically stated for combination, dry, oily, and sensitive skin. So, great news, we dry skin girls can use it if we get it as a power pick! 😁
Wow that would be great. I thought it was more clay based, which typically is something I stay away from. 😬
It does have some clay in it, but it also contains skin loving oils. I’m guessing those counteract the excessive dryness that often comes with other clay based products. 😊

I would like to try that blush and small pallet. The Fenty perfume had me excited until you said it smells awful. Now I’m not sure if I should pick it or not. I have used the Banana cream in the past and I really enjoyed so hopefully I will get to pick it. When it comes to the boost item I am always wishing we get some makeup products.
Yea they only seem to give makeup in the boost like once a quarter or so, I’ve noticed. 😢 I am sorry to ruin the fenty for you, but wanted yall to be warned, in case. It might be a gamble. I’d still be curious personally. Kind of hope I get it! 😂

The Laura Geller? Maybe I’ll have to see how it does in my try ons. They usually send a palette in my boxy so my guess is, I’ll probably get it.
smart of them to include a sunscreen! love when they double as moisturizers. I feel like its pretty unfortunate that they send out discontinued products...shouldn't they send new stuff they'd like you to re-purchase? just a thought!
I had a sample of innis free sunscreen .iam glad it’s choice product . I remember loving it … also interested in that LYS lipstick. Possibly a good box month
Oh yay! I’m loving trying good sunscreens this summer. And yes I think it has potential to be good with some of these items if we can get our preferences:)
I don’t think they look at our profiles either, because I have asked for skincare products only, and I receive all makeup products.
Ug, yea I hear a lot of people with similar experiences. 😌
If you want all Skincare for example don't check want on your quiz on make up items

The blush looks cute. I love inisfree so I’m cool with any of their products. Spf 36 haha that’s funny. If I get that neutral 6 pan I’m going to scream haha Yaaaa patchouli is so rough if it isn’t blended well.
The tarte nude or white fake awake works well. I do not like getting SPF. Always an expiration date. I have too many.
That’s how I feel about mascara lol. 😂 I’m starting to accumulate a lot of spf too now though, so good point lol.
Thanks for the info. I just subscribed. I don’t think Ipsy takes the beauty quiz into consideration. The quiz doesn’t even ask for undertone anymore lol. They keep sending me power picks of cleansers for oily skin and I’m dry, preferring to rarely get cleansers haha. I have to gift them. Anyway, I look forward to your next video.

I had bad luck with the baked foundation too. I don’t know… I think I got a bad shade match since I ordered it online. 😂 But oh yes I’d love the LYS too! :)

Don’t feel bad about not being excited about this Laura Geller eyeshadow palette. Neither am I. Not only cause it’s such a warm and uninspiring color story but also cause LG eyeshadow palettes are not that good. These eyeshadows tend to look very similar on the eye and don’t have much payoff. I really hope I don’t get it as my power pick.
Yes I agree. I just feel like the formula is blah and all the color stories I’ve seen in her palettes are the same and boring. 😂

Hey there. So the power picks are for everyone, yes, and for no extra cost. They started these when they merged with Ipsy. Everyone gets two power picks and then 3 choices of their own. The power picks are the items that Ipsy chooses for you (so they are not customized). They are usually more sought after bigger, higher ticket items, though.

Unless you are an ipsy member you don't have a profile, so when they send PR it's just a general assortment of products. They don't know what skin type or preference you are or have❤
They actually did a profile for me though in the beginning. 😂 And I’ve heard from a lot of folks in the comments too that they seem to ignore theirs also. But I do know that it’s different in PR and I am not meaning to sound like a brat. 😂

Hey sure thing! I am just finishing the color wow leave in spray and I like it a lot but it has a funny sprayer on it as all. I also love my tried and true drugstore brand: Miracle 10! And I also really love Evolvh leave in conditioner as well! Hope that helps! I still haven’t gotten to the Christophe Robin yet but I need to try it out more! :)

I absolutely agree I don’t think Ipsy uses our profiles or reviews at all. And it’s really making me not like them anymore. I don’t do much makeup. And have most makeup set to rarely. And always rate things like eyeshadow as 1 star. Yet last month once again I got an eyeshadow pallet in both my bag and box.. and its really sad! Because I know most people would be absolutely stoked to get two pallets in one month. But they sent them to someone who keeps begging them to stop sending them instead 🙃🙃🙃

Oh wow you got eyeshadow palettes not once but twice! I would LOVE that! And in the same box no less?! I agree, I had specifically put I didn’t want facemasks and in my very first box what do you think I got?! my preferences are always yes yes yes for pressed powder, eyeshadows, bronzers, make up! I’m getting very little. Face wash skin care and eye patches… it’s a waste of money. Especially since I thought it was going to be actually customized. I will cancel if the same thing happens this month.

Not yet. Waiting on them to drop. It’s usually in the late 20’s of each month. But I’ll bring a video when I’ve got them. 🤗

I didn't like 1 item in Icon. Loved every item this month. I do not care for Ciate anymore. When I first started high end makeup it was my go-to brand. I would be happy for the Tula. African botanicals is a good brand. That's the reason I said I did not like anything in my icon. It was entirely against my preferences and my skin type.
Oh man that is terrible!! I was disappointed in my icon box too but that sounded even worse than mine:( 😢
The perfume is suppose to react to your body chemistry.
Interesting. So it may give a different scent/experience for everyone. Could be a gamble then either way. 😂
I just got my ipsy glam bag i didnt get the bag for june they gave me a different bag wonder why and if anybody else got a different bag? I like the one i got its pretty . Just curious

I was negative, yes. I’ll try to tone down my opinions on my own box in the spoilers, at least. However, if it’s something I think you guys should be aware of, like the fenty perfume, I still want to give you the full info and warnings so you can make the best choice for you. But I have heard from a lot of folks that they don’t listen to their profiles either, even though it’s not PR. At least I could make choices though if I had a second box. I’ve been considering it.

You do share spoilers and do try ons…that’s what most ever day people want. We’re not going to like all, if’s it a choice I don’t want, try to think about a person that could use, maybe can’t afford. I wanted to try perfume also, going to go test somewhere….lol
