I loved my previous BR, but it was a bit sluggish. Really excited to demo this one. Will it convince me to sell my Pro Angler.....well see. I really would like a more skinny boat with all the comforts of the PA especially in skinny water cuz ya can't paddle the PA. Only issue I see in the FD, is that it doesn't bite into the water like the mirage deive
I'm a PA 12 ownerbut huge Jackson fan. I use my Cuda 12 in shallow water rivers and coastal bays. So this I think would be a great competitor of the PA 12
Basically Jackson took their best kayak and put the best drive on it this is going to be a great competitor against the Native Titan and don’t forget the e drive which is going to make this kayak very versatile.
I'm a guy torn between my peddle drive Hobie 12 which gets my big water needs done. But I rock my Jackson Cuda 12 in shallow water rivers and when my wife comes out with me. I'm definelty leaning towards this as my next tournament kayak.
Much prefer a Left to Right steering and a bigger tankwell. Jackson is almost there with this one. Also that front bin is very small. And is there a spot for a transducer?
Why is there no built in under-seat storage for Plano boxes, like on the original Big Rig? One thing I really miss on the Coosa FD are those two storage slots, plus the two molded side-seat storage areas. I understand why the latter is gone on this and the Coosa FD, but I can't figure out the reason to eliminate the two spots under the seat. This isn't a complaint; I'm just curious. =) On the Big Rig, I can store inside the hull rods, micro Power Pole, etc. How is the storage capacity inside the hull of this version? What about the hull itself, is it relatively flat and shallow like the original Big Rig, a deeper V-shape like the Coosa FD, or maybe somewhere in between the two?
We added Mole mesh to the bottom of the seat so you can add anything you want under the seat as far as storage options. This allows people with different needs to add plano storage, or any other variety of slots, holders or bags.

Yes, there is an oversized transducer scupper. We designed this one to fit side scan.
