Knarr is kinda like the old bigrig width wise, the new knar looks good but i have the pedal drive bigrig at 40 inch wide super stable and i dont think i would want to give up the channels on the side to store baits, pole etc. agree its like a jon boat but standing with boat waves it is the most stable boat i have been on. Glad they kept the retract prop as it is a breeze to clean out of weeds n such. Enjoy your new ride but not enough to get me to change out my bigrig.
Would like to see the foot controls being used with the rods in the horizontal storage area also can you access the rod that would be on the bottom without removing the two rods on top?
Hi, First time long time hopefully, enjoyed your video, I am in the market for a fishing Kayak and looking at Jonny Boat, Bonafide and Hobie. My question is, when you first purchased what made you want to by the Big Rig Jackson vs the others out there and did you consider any other kayaks before getting the Jackson Knarr? Does your foot steering get in the way of your internal rod storage? Also do you experience any seat shifting as you pedal with the new high low seating system?
I have never owned a kayak and I’m looking to buy one for fishing the back saltwater bays. 250 lbs man and supplies, which kayak would you suggest? Thanks
I would like to see the internal rod holders filled with rods, so I can see how much foot room is left. They just don't look functional, but I really would like to see the comparison with the 6 rods and reels in it. Thanks for the great video. Ya'll keep stating how the upper rotates the drive in the opposite direction and the bottom needs to be replaced, that doesn't make sense. Just put the new prop that was designed to go the opposite direction on the Big rig with the new drive.
The lower unit was also redesigned (not just the prop). It has a bigger drive shaft with coils that are designed to spin a certain direction. If you just replace the prop you will lose performance from the drive and you risk your coils blowing up on you from consistently winding "backwards". Hopefully that makes sense!
