@@flowlabmentalfitnessforamb981 NP at all. Thnx for the great content. So just curious, are you going to continue these Detox's for the forseeable future? I have tried doing these and only ever made it 2 days. It is extremely difficult IMO so props for actually completing a week. I hope the benefits were worth it!

@@LukeSly91 Amazing that you did a detox yourself!!! Two days is a great achievement already!💪 We’re also planning to offer a dopamine detox course soon where we discuss how to optimize your day according to dopamine and support in building healthy habits because I agree that it can be very difficult to push through when planning and doing it on your own.
So far, I haven’t done another strict dopamine detox week (although I'd like to do it every once in a while), but rather have stuck to some of the habits I’ve built during that week (e.g., I’m still not watching any Netflix, shower cold most of the time, listen to less music, …). Also, I try not to layer multiple dopamine-releasing activities (e.g., snacking and listening to music while working). So yes, luckily there are benefits I’m still experiencing a few months later.😊

Brilliant idea, and very well produced. Worth every minute of watching. I'm sure many of the target audience will get bored and try to jump to the reveal....

Thank you so much, this really means a lot🙏☺️ And people skipping forward are exactly the ones who should do a dopamine fast too😁

Watching this before doing a week long fast myself. Going to try to remember to come back here in a week and document my findings to see how similar or different they are compared to yours. I've previously done 2 and 3 days at a time but I want to push for a whole week and see if there's a real difference.

Oh wow, amazing that you already completed a couple of days before! 💪 That’s a great preparation, then you probably already know your personal challenges. And fantastic that you keep pushing forward! 🚀🚀 Very curious to hear how it went 😊

Kudos to you for making this commitment and following through with it. It seems it took your creativity to another level. Maybe cultivating your relationships with people in person and getting out into nature more often? Experiencing something like this for a week could really open your awareness. Possibly now you may have more intentional focus of how you feel and what you choose to occupy your time with more meaningful activities. I do have a You Tube addiction. So, perhaps its time for me to implement some balance in that area of my life. Thank you for sharing your journey through this time. I admire the commitment and your expression to your self and your audience.

I just had a different perspective here. Was most of the Dopamine fast based on fasting from "media" . I wonder if a person would feel a different type of Dopamine if they increased the "creative arts" ? Those things that evoke your own creativity. Those things that get life flowing though you. Creating music, dancing, drawing, gardening, sewing are a few I was thinking about. Would those types of things effect the type of Dopamine or the receptors of the Dopamine?

It's really true sadly I feel it when she said "the things that gave me pleasure don't give me so much pleasure anymore" 🙄 it's true and sad when you got to this point and it's also not really nice feeling when you don't know how to reverse some of these effects also in other themes...

    • @flowlabmentalfitnessforamb981

Hey there, so sorry to hear that!💚 If you think this feeling is due to certain habits like the ones described in this video, I hope watching this could also encourage you to take action and build healthier habits. You can also take it step by step if an entire dopamine detox doesn't fit your everyday life right now. But if you notice feeling down, helpless, and pessimistic for a longer time, don't hesitate to consult a therapist. All the best!🌻

Love the content but vibration is transferred from the table to the move that is very annoying. Love your voice and how you present the subject matter. Keep doing the great work. Currently trying to do Dopamine Detox my self as my life is hell at the moment.
