I used a BMR K-member, part number is KM019, there are a couple different variations of the KM019 k-member dependant on what steering and engine mounts you want to use but if you search that part number all the different options should come up. I think your 96 uses the same k-memeber.
What intake did you use for this engine? I’m doing a swap in my 99 firebird and I understand the truck intake has clearance issues in these cars. Did you use a trailer blazer intake? If so for what year? My engine is out of a 99 Silverado.
According to my research none of the truck intakes will clear the cowl. Neither the 3rd gen truck intake or the TBSS/NNBS intake manifold will fit. I used and LS1 intake manifold. You could also use and LS6 intake manifold or and aftermarket low rise intake.
