Thanks for posting this. I grew up in Adelaide and as a teenager used to drive past the Clovelly Park factory because my Dad worked nearby and as I gun nut even then used to dream about what they were producing. I recently bought a Sportco M44 .308 target rifle so I finally have one.

Nice work.. But its curious why he didn't just find a gunsmith and barrel maker in Europe, after the war such people were easy to source.. Many American firm did this after ww1 and ww2
