I can't believe that Jimmy and I are going to be celebrating our one year of marriage in about a week! Crazy how the year flew by. And if you have been following my journey, we only got married legally on paper but have not yet had our wedding celebration yet. A year ago we had to cancel our wedding due to the pandemic. It was a struggle because we were like a week away from the wedding. But of course our main priority was the safety of our family and friends. Fast forward a whole year and we are back to wedding season. We dont know if we will be having a big celebration like we planned but we want to do something. In a year my style has definitely changed a bit. But somewhat similar. I still like the romantic vibes. Like I mentioned weddings are expensive. As much as we tried to stay within budget we were still over. So anywhere that we can save money on we are going to do that. And thats why I love wedding decorations on a budget. They can still look cute and pinterest worthly but costs you less than $5. I did so much for my wedding day. I did some diy centerpieces, wedding welcome mirror signs, and so much more. I was looking up so many different ways to make diy wedding decor. And It definitely can save you so much money, specially if you buy things in bulk.
There are so many different ways to be creative with your wedding! If you have the time and resources to make some unique and personalized wedding decor why not! It may save you a lot, who wouldn't want to save money to spend on other things in the wedding.
