Thank you so much! I’ve seen you have a couple more uploaded that I will get to tomorrow! Thank you for taking the time to comment. I appreciate you guys! Cheers!
I feel the bike comes set up very stiff and other videos I have watch have said the same thing. Maybe they are going up on spring rate and revalving it? I have worked with suspension tunners both motorcycle and off road cars so I have a good grasp on a few things and there are a couple different ways to make something work. Thank you taking the time to comment!
@ the only folks I’ve heard say the bike was stiff are trial riders and slow moto guys everyone else says they’re soft but yes I’m assuming revalving with stiffer spring rates does make for a way to get comfort and hold up out of the bike.
Great question! Going back and measuring on the Stark it’s right at 37 inches at the lowest part of the saddle where you would sit and my XR sits right at 34 inches with a Trials tires on it. I will be doing a side-by-side comparison, coming up in two days And I will address that in the video. I love the escape XR and if I’m gonna go ride something gnarly that I’m not sure I can do on the Stark . That’s the bike I start with. Do it on the XR first and then I tried on the Stark.New video coming out today on the Stark riding hard Enduro and filming with the new DJI action five camera. Thank you for taking the time to comment. I appreciate you!
Hey Tim- What are you thought on gearing? Stock mine came with 14/ 47… Thinking of going to 13/ 48 for single track, woods, technical stuff, pivot turns, etc.
I’m 1447 and definitely don’t have a problem with lowing grunt getting over things in loft in the front wheel at 40 hp. I think 1348 may make it a little snappy but would be interested to hear back from you if you decide to do it. Maybe just drop down in the front to the 13 first as that’s a cheap one to install. Tomorrow I’m doing GoPro footage on the Stark and we’ll have that video up tomorrow. It’s on my list to work on circle wheelies with a left-hand rear brake. I started the other day with was only able to do a 180. With practice it’ll come. Thank you for coming and great to hear from you!
Great video!

@@TRCa51of course Thank you for watching also!!
Anyone doing motocross the best suspension tuners have recommended going up a spring rate from your normal weight.

Great info. Always interesting.
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I really appreciate the positive words! Have a great rest of your weekend!
Please compare the size of the two bikes
XR has a low saddle, so it's easy to reach my legs
How much is the Stark varg saddle?
