    that chain sound
    gets on a nerve because there is no 450 noise and bass to drown it out, but if you put slipknot or slayer on your ears, it would probably be ok

    The amount of travel you were able to go honestly blows, I just don't see the appeal when having to limit yourself to such short rides.

    • @SWTrailsAndWheels
      @SWTrailsAndWheels  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@williamfoster4268 Not limited in my case since this is a very typical loop I ride. Most loops we do are 20 to 30 miles. That's a huge workout when fighting sand and whoops.

    nice bike: nowhere near the range i require , i doubt electric will ever get close to what most of us need

    • @SWTrailsAndWheels
      @SWTrailsAndWheels  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ogasi1798 We'll see. Battery tech is advancing pretty fast but range is still very limited for motorcycles. They are more weight sensitive and have limited space compared to cars.

      Boomers bragging that they have enough spare time to ride stints of more than 50 miles. Tbh, you shouldn't rub that privilege in everybody's nose.

    • @OHGE-q9j
      @OHGE-q9j 20 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      @@vgstb what kind of silly comment is that? You haul your bike out to the trails and only ride for an hour? Sounds like a wasted day. I rode 167 miles last weekend on my day off. Stark is cool but why hate on others to justify electric bikes? They have a long way to go

      I do like the sound of gas engines better, but in person the Varg sounds like some kind of Star Wars Speeder bike. Try one if you get a chance.

    • @SWTrailsAndWheels
      @SWTrailsAndWheels  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @howiefine3074 Yup. There are a few loops over 30 miles and we've done an over 40 mile loop on forrest singletrack (slower speeds and no sand so may be possible?). Those rides are not very often though so I would hate to have a bike sitting to be ridden only a couple of times per year. I'll be pushing it on some longer loops. For really long, less technical riding, a bike like the Kove 450 Rally is amazing with its 8 gallon tanks.
