This dude completely skipped the second step of the whole process which is fog lights. When did you install and how that you instantly started talking about inserting signal lights.
I'm guessing it's pretty straightforward as far as bolting the light to the car and just keep wiring away from hot surfaces and u should be str8.....
I installed Fog lights and DRL with add a fuse taps in the box. Very easy install. I had to take off the wipers, window cowl to get to the rubber grommmet to the fire wall near the shock tire drivers side to run the fog light harness for the button.
Please do a video to see how it looks at night time
I agree everything in the beginning look good the removing top part for the place of the cables, the removing lower plastic cover for you to be able to reach the bezels.
BUT then it's jump to the installation of the bezel while the fog lights are already in place, that is a very important step miss.
It's may be self explanatory but still need to be explained.
Should use a add a circuit fuse tap on the fuse and a T-tap connector for the turn signal

What’s up with them little circle fog lights?
Never mentioned them or how to connect them.
They bolt up in the small holes. There’s also a white plastic bolt/screw on the bottom, where you can adjust the lighting, so you’re not blinding anyone, and/or so they’re even on both sides after install.
My kit didn’t come w bolts so I bought 8/32 screws and the white plastic universal nuts to go into the backside of it, to hold the light.
Me & my son are trying to install an E-Bay fog light/DRLs on a 2020 Camry SE. Not quite the same, but some parts are relevant. Damn - just ran the entire wire loom up over the top so it would be hidden by the plastic cover by the air intake. Damn plug for the light was too short by 8". Gotta take it all out and run it across the bottom.

There's other options out there, I personally like the Toyota OEM accent lighting ones a little more. They are plug and play as well, no need to strip, splice or anything like that.

Great Video! Noticed you did the fog lights also. Was the wiring and there already for the fog lights or was that something you had to run yourself and how hard was that to do. For me having the fog lights themselves without the drl is something I would do.
tstewart2020 This car was not ready for the fog lights, so I had to run the wires. It is fairly easy to do, but getting through the firewall can be a challange with this model. All you need to run to the interior is the connector for the button on the dash board. All the wiring is done from inside of the engine bay.
mayiandjay what did you wire to fog lights to? The switch doesn't fit next to the gas, trunk, etc... I've read others say that they tapped into the right headlight. Would you be able to help me out?
THat was my question I don't see anyone getting the fog lights to work. The switch provided is also the wrong size.

@@BigT2522 careful tapping foglights into the headlight. In a lot of jurisidictions running foglights in the absence of an actual fog could result in a traffic fine.

Please don't do that to the fuse. Instead get a "Add a fuse" kit and install it that way. It's much safer than doing it this way. Also don't plug in the plugs like that for the turn signal. This dude is not showing you the proper ways to install this. Please make sure you splice into the turn signal cables instead and wrap it with electrical tape once you're done.
How come i hook up like the video but sometimes the tube light just goes on for awhile then turns off??? Does anyone have a better way to install it without the tube lights goes on and off by itseft so it does kill the battery??
How do you add a fuse kit to install it safely please?
@@thythy0805 Search up how to add a fuse on car. The add a fuse should be like $6 if not cheaper. All you're doing from the fuse is getting the power for the DRL so the white lights not the signals. Remove one of the fuses that only powers on when the car is either powered on. This can make you have DRL only when the car is turned on which is what you need. Also for the signals all you need to do is find the right wire to cut into for the signal, once found cut into the rubber covering and make a little hole into the copper. Once you make the little hole into the signal wire copper, get the signal fog light wire and stick it into the hole you made in the signal wire. Once you stick it between them wrap it around the copper wire and then wrap it with some electrical tape. Not don't hook nothing up too the fuse box that's a brand new car use the kit adapter instead . Don't get why people mess with new cars

I also have a blue wire left after I connect the ground and positive wires
I didn't know those were actually cut all the way through, why not match the grill and use the channels, instead of lights that don't really match. I'm still paying the bank but now I know what direction to take. Cut out the center, and use the pre existing screws, epoxy matched grill to the back. To let it show through, but still have the same matched plastic bezel.
Fore warning that fuse he's connecting to is your safety sense system and DO NOT turn on the car without the fuse. And also the lights keep coming on randomly.

these a thing u can unplug for the LED turn signal for xse model and then u can stick the turn signal wire into that and plug it back in like the the video

Maybe your kit didn’t come with it? I think some kits are just the fog light version with a specific switch that you can put up near the other lights on left side of dash by the steering wheel.
Or, maybe you switched the yellow wire that he put into the socket, on the wrong side?
Also, splice into the wiring, and don’t wire it directly to where the light actually inserts; not only ghetto, but dangerous, too.
Question: how did you put the harness for fog light, im having trouble to where i should slide in the wire all the way to dash board
How did you get the fog light at switch working. This kit is not that great if they don't understand the switch they give you won't work in a 2018 camry.

I don't know but are this car came with fog lights? cus I far I know they don't come with ones, iam talking real fog lights set, my wife just both a 2019 Camry SE nice but no fog lights very bad choice for Toyota no idea why. But I will buy the fog lights set that's is the one I like.

mayiandjay did the switch to turn the fog lights on and off fit the little cover for the switches? I know that the gas and trunk release button is there but some of these on the market I've seen have different size switch
They do not have the right size for that yet

You could’ve used your plastic tools to take the cover off from the exterior (front). You don’t have to take the splash guard (below) off. :) welcome
How do you install the button inside the car? You showed us how to wire the light bulb, but forgot to show us how you push the wire through the chassis so you can press a button near the steering wheel
Do you have an XSE? i just installed these and my DRL lights on the headlights will not turn on with auto now. Im going to fix it tomorrow at the shop that installed them. Does yours do this too? if you have an XSE as well.
i saw this in person the LED is brighter than the headlights it looks mismatached, also it reminds me of a running LED flashlights. if they can tone down the lights to match the cars lights would be better.. too bright for me. it kills the porpose of having a head light and fog lights. lol

How does the fog lights work. I mean how are they connected? Do you have to physically turn the lights on the with the provided button (which is a wrong size) or you connected them to the headlights switch so when you turn on the headlights, the fog lights turn on too.

Audeo, don't follow these instructions or you'll be looking for an alternator within a week or two, the reason to mention this is the OBD2 in the Camry is very complex and if you use the fuse box will kill the alternator, use it direct from the battery and the switch run it thru the steering column or take it to an electromechanic so he can do it plus the warranty, hope that Helped...

You used the same fog light switch that came with the product? , because apparently it is bigger and does not fit in, how did you do it?
It does fit but only three screws are able to work on it, not 4.

I can see that you're trying and I give you an a for effort but you're doing everything totally wrong you need to get a little more knowledge on wiring stuff. Especially when it comes to wiring someone else's car newer cars it's not like wiring a old cars, they need to be wired properly if not you well caused a lot of damage.

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT USE THE FUSE BOX FOR THAT UP GRADE, DO NOT USE IT!!!! THE ALTERNATOR WILL FAIL WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF YOU INSTALLING WITH THAT CONFIGURATION, DUE TO CURRENT FEEDBACK FROM THE CIRCUIT, JUST USE DIRECT FROM THE BATTERY and a inside switch....DON'T DO IT....
can you please tell me why this would kill the Alternator?? i'm just confused. What if I was to tap in to the DRL relay instead, would that cause the same issue?
@@lastmintuefishing in the OBD system will be a feedback into the charging system, just go direct to the battery and you will not have any issues trust me, that happened to me when I installed fog lights....I am giving you an advice for free, trust me....
i have seen things I definitely appreciate the advice, but I need a bit more help to install my lights. If I’m running straight from battery then they will be on all the time, what would be the workaround. Running a switch inside? If that’s the case what if I forget to switch them off? I was thinking about testing the open fuse slots to see which one would power on with ignition on and use one of the empty slots and use add a circuit and leave the acc fuse alone.
i have seen things it happened to me to 3 months after installing those fog lights. I brought the car back to the dealership they charge me $1300 for burned repair wires and warranty didn’t cover because it was my own doing . I was so pissed . Ever since I disconnected the fog lights. So how do I use them directly like to battery?
