YEESS!!!. It's my favorite artist today. The unbelievable Gigi de Lana, the Queen of all genre. Who also happens to OWN the 80s. "Yesterday When I Was Young" is my all time favorite cover from Gigi, 'cause I'm old now. She makes me feel like I'm 20 again, if only for a moment. Thank you guys so much for doing this one. John on the piano is really another level of talent and support for Gigi. Not taking anything away from her, at all. But his composition, his support of her choices and how he stops playing, or even just the volume control when he hears her changing or doing adlibs to showcase her. Great band overall, but I particularly appreciate him. Their experience as a wedding band shows. All of them can adapt on the fly to support any changes or mistakes or whatever. Really solid band.

Just watched their whole band interview from Paco's place unfortunately the interview wasn't english subbed but that was when they were in Los Angeles. I agree. When talking about singers of this calibre (Gigi and Morissette and all the other pros) ranking them is wrong and unfair. Each of them have got their strengths and weaknesses. In the final analysis music and singers preferences is purely subjective. Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. So rather than be critical of one vs the other let us all celebrate their talents and enjoy them.
