I have said before, like a great athlete, Mori has more time than the rest of us. When you watch Messi in the box on a the soccer field defended closely by a center back, time seems to stop. He can do several subtle moves before he passes or scores. It doesn’t seem like he should have enough time. In micro seconds he moves his body in ways it doesn’t seem possible. Everyone else on the field, when you slow the action down, appears to be still. Only he is moving. Mori slips from one note and tone to another so quickly, but you hear each note. These people, in their minds, create more time. They have all the time they need, but it does not seem possible.

Fun fact: Mori has four lungs in her petite body. LOL🤪🤪 Oh the pandemic days. But this is is one of my fave Mori videos. The artistry, the team, the music, do you hear those drums??? Wickedtastic. And yes, she does what she does without compromise. I get what you're trying to say Johnny that "good singers can sing good" BUT for me, the nuances that Mori puts into every performance is what sets her apart. BTW, the two men, Adonis Tabanda (bass) is her musical director for most gigs she does and Kiko Salazar is a really good producer and songwriter. He wrote "Akin Ka Na Lang" This is such a fun video. Her voice is much fuller than Mariah and can definitely those whistles too. THIS version is the live version Mariah performed on something that I cannot remember. She even did the "high Jesus" Oh oh and the second video.....LOOOOOOOOOOVE this one too. Definitely reminds me of one of those VH1 Divas performances. SHe killed this and I don't care what people say that at the end she "lost" the whistle. You try singing and dancing on a massive stage for 10+min and pull off a ridiculous performance. YOu try it and tell me how easy it is. This is also one of my faves. This is her 2nd song of the night and the other one, she belted her face off too and mostly chest voice. You can tell some parts a more aspirated notes but holy cow, give her a break. ALso, thanks for noticing the riffs on the whistle Johnny. I love this one. The one who is playing the piano in FLy Like A Bird cover is Kiko Salazar - songwriter, composer of Akin Ka Na Lang, Mori is her muse/interpreter at the PhilPop Songwrting Competition (2014) it is where Akin Ka Na Lang debuted, then it will be Mori's hit anthem song thru Wish 107.5 - WishBus. The other person was Adonis Tabanda, whom was also seen in I Want To Know What Love Is (holding a guitar near Mori) - great collab between these 3 talented musicians(voice or instruments) /songwriters/producers.
Mori is really a great singer. That's not even a question anymore. But the band, can we take a moment and also appreciate their skills? I know them personally, they are all session musicians. They are really good, they read notes/music sheets like morning newspaper. They sound so tight since they have been playing together since kids in church before they even became pros.

I get what you're trying to say Johnny that "good singers can sing good" BUT for me, the nuances that Mori puts into every performance is what sets her apart. BTW, the two men, Adonis Tabanda (bass) is her musical director for most gigs she does and Kiko Salazar is a really good producer and songwriter. He wrote "Akin Ka Na Lang" This is such a fun video. Her voice is much fuller than Mariah and can definitely those whistles too. THIS version is the live version Mariah performed on something that I cannot remember. She even did the "high Jesus"
Oh oh and the second video.....LOOOOOOOOOOVE this one too. Definitely reminds me of one of those VH1 Divas performances. SHe killed this and I don't care what people say that at the end she "lost" the whistle. You try singing and dancing on a massive stage for 10+min and pull off a ridiculous performance. YOu try it and tell me how easy it is. This is also one of my faves. This is her 2nd song of the night and the other one, she belted her face off too and mostly chest voice. You can tell some parts a more aspirated notes but holy cow, give her a break. ALso, thanks for noticing the riffs on the whistle Johnny. I love this one.
THe third one is good but I can't help but get distracted with the 'off note" that came from the BGVs or piano. BUT doesn't take away from how incredibly well MOri performed. Consumate professional
One of her absolute dream collabs is with Bruno Mars. She's just fantastic snd thank you for noticing that in some of the times, Mori was the one who lead the band in so she's pitch perfect. So so so fun ans her bass player, is non otjer than Adonis Tabanda. They work so well together.

Mori is really a great singer. That's not even a question anymore. But the band, can we take a moment and also appreciate their skills? I know them personally, they are all session musicians. They are really good, they read notes/music sheets like morning newspaper. They sound so tight since they have been playing together since kids in church before they even became pros.
