So here is where I am at; I got the boot image but it is in boot.img.lz4 format, which I managed to get converted with an lz4 conversion app (github.com/lz4/lz4) which seemed to work. Then I followed all your other steps, but when I did the final reboot, I got a "Verification failed" screen. This is on Samsung J4 Core (j410f) Android 8.1. I used the latest Odin and updated the Magisk manager to the latest version from within the app.
For anyone having this issue with this device (Samsung J4), I had to boot in twrp mode, flash (install) RMM_Bypass_v3_corsicanu.zip (ignore the errors) and then J4+J6+_oreo_forced_encryption_disabler (ignore the errors), then format data and finally flash magisk and wipe dalvic/cache and then reboot (all in that order)

Extract the tool and then transfer the boot.img.lz4 file to the tool’s lz4.exe file.
Run lz4.exe and you will get the boot.img file.

@@TechJarves I did it on windows anyways and it worked but I thing I messed with some setting I shouldn't have and now when ever I unlock the screen it says "Android UI has stopped" and "Android system has stopped" and after sometime it restarts then the same thing. @@TechJarves i got it from its firmware... and patch it via magisk manager then flashed it via odin :)
note: in most, if not, all samsung devices, you WILL have to flash your whole firmware and erase all your data. this is to prevent your device to bootloop. the AP file must be patched with magisk in order to get magisk while flashing.

yeah first time I tried rooting I got stuck in a boot loop (Galaxy S10).
I reinstalled the whole firmware (unrooted) to fix it and now I can't even use Samsung Wallet, Samsung Pass, or anything protected by Knox :(
@@jadenkalloo4409 in some samsung devices, u only need twrp or any recovery alternatives like orangefox to flash magisk.
