It took so long to figure out what I'm doing. Two days to be exact. I had to delete the carrier, bootloader unlock, then do this all over again and after SO long I FINALLY rooted my phone. Thank you so much for all your help!!

Definitly works cause I rooted two of my pixel6a as a complete beginner to any of these stuff so had to watch 2 more vids to unlock fastboot and to install usb drivers but in the end I just followed what he did all step by step and just got done with rooting and have checked it with a root checker, Thank you for the vid ❤❤❤❤
i did all these same steps for a sam beckman video, but it sent my phone to a bootloop than proceeded to be unbootable and i couldn't access it with adb for a while until i was able to put an unmodified rom into it and reboot it, any tips?

It works, thank you! I just rooted Oukitel RT7 with previously unlocked bootloader. For others note that unlocking the bootloader wipes the device!

Pixels are some of the easiest to root and consistently so, not to mention the wealth of third-party software support. I've never owned nor do I like pixels, but I envy the mod support on these things.

without computer - if and only if you have a custom recovery, installing a custom recovery needs a computer

Hi Sir, is this possible and is it going to interrupt the whole proccess and how do i fix it ... basicly the permission of Magisk to REQUEST_INSTALL_PACKAGES was crossed out with a thin white line, system didn't detected any downloaded or updates. Most likely to stop my proccesses or i shouldn't be worried about that ?

Hi! I updated the rooted pixel 6a from android 12 to android 13, after which the root apparently disappeared. Do I need to flash both slots by a13 before following the video steps? Or can I just follow the steps in the video?

Munchy, poco x3 pro shows use the common tools for unlocking. When I try again it says you don't have authorisation for unlocking. What to do?

Hey Munchy! I just switched form the Poco F1 to the pixel 7 but I miss the unlimited Google photos storage I had on the poco from custom roms. Is there any way to get unlimited storage on my pixel 7? Thank you!
Not sure of this but I think I've seen in Google photo settings that you do have access to unlimited storage as long as you choose to sync your photos/video in a compressed format. Only original quality medias are not eligible to unlimited free storage

This might be the problem when trying to update from Android 12 to 13... (see other comment with link)
If the active slot is then flashed with a build that fails to boot, the fallback mechanism of seamless updates kicks in and the device tries to boot from the inactive slot. Since the inactive slot contains the older bootloader, the device enters an unbootable state.
