    You certainly are the poster woman for your advice......your skin is beautiful and you are fit.....good for you.....my parents taught us to eat healthy and take care of ourselves that being said in the last 5 years I’ve taken my health to a much higher level.....making my own skin care products....cutting out sugar alone I see a huge difference in my skin plus I lost 20 pounds in last year.....I eat organic food and practice yoga.....staying away from toxins as much as is humanly possible lol.....currently I am cleansing my bowel and am feeling a huge difference in my mental outlook and inflammation in my body........enjoying your channel.....🙏

    I use a recipe for facial cleanser found on Pinterest using dr. Bronners and honey. So simple and my skin loves it.

    I use water mixed with apple cider vinegar to wash my face. I make my own body and hand scrubs.

      Ohh I haven't tried that! I've used apple cider vinegar as a toner before but not a cleanser/face wash. Do you find it removes makeup?

    All great suggestions! I use most of these items, so much healthier for your skin! Derma E makes a great microdermabrasion scrub for your face. It helps reduce the keratosis pilaris I have along my jawline/neck area. I highly recommend it. Im also obssesed with Shea , cocoa, mango butters etc!

    • @meghanlivingstone
      @meghanlivingstone  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Skin butters are the best, I love them! I haven't tried Derma E's microdermabrasion scrub but I've seen it in stores. Maybe I'll give it a go sometime :)

    Not quite in line with the topic but I was wondering about the bra you are wearing when you are dry skin brushing. Is it 'organic' ? What brand and style is it? I am looking for a more 'natural' bra with no underwire that has some support. The one you were wearing looks comfortable.

    Great video! I am a little bit scared to put oil on my face 'cause I have acne prone skin but I will give it a try! I would like to try dry brushing too, where can I find a brush like yours?

    • @meghanlivingstone
      @meghanlivingstone  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can get skin brushes in health food stores and even drug stores. I also have a link to mine on my website and in the description box of this video :)

    I LOVE the topic of natural skin care! I have a blog post going up about it next month!
    Do you have any tips on getting your nails to grow long and strong? Mine grow well, but because #momlife they are constantly breaking (lots of dishes, handwashing, laundry, cleaning, etc). In my youth I did many years of acrylics and I feel like I ruined them forever with all that damage :(

    I just discovered your videos recently and love all the helpful information! I’m searching for a daytime face moisturizer with spf in it that is not harmful. The one I have used for years I recently discovered that it’s main spf ingredient is a carcinogen:(. Do you have any recommendations?

    Hey Meghan, do you have any recommendations for acne and acne scars?

    • @meghanlivingstone
      @meghanlivingstone  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Ruth! The oils I mentioned are great for scars -- Vitamin E oil is also great! Acne in general though is most often a digestive or liver-related condition. Reducing top irritants such as dairy, gluten, and sugar intake can help! xoxo
