By the time we grow old, we will probably have Mortal Kombat 76, Street Fighter 65, and Killer Instinct 47, and those are just some fighting games. But guess what? When those people look back on the FIRST game of each series, the ones that started it all, they will see how awesome they were, and hopefully, they will appreciate and respect the series more. Who knows, some people may even be inspired to create their own.

Games like this will never exist, industry is now overpowered corporations that extract the creativeness of developers just to make a mediocre experience. This is a fine example of people doing what they do with love. Sure there are good games out there but most are repetitive in their nature and nothing makes you jump out of the sit, nowadays the franchises sell because of the name and impact the previous true games left back in the day.
If Rare was smart, they'd put this and KI2 on XBLA. The sales would clearly show people would want a KI3. It worked with the revival of Futurama and Family Guy due to their DVD sales.

I thought so too....I think they should have kept all the old characters and add new ones. My opinion is that it's dumb to take away characters. Every character no matter mundane has at least some fans.

If they had complete control over their projects, then Perfect Dark 2 (zero's a so-so prequel), a true Conker sequel, Killer Instinct 3, a Battletoads remake and probably a Sabre Wulf complete console remake would be on their way. In other words, Microsoft's screwing Rare, badly.

Sabrewulf is the weakest character in this game. There was a flaw with his defense in that Glacius can use a crouching medium punch to freely hit Sabrewulf from a safe distance and it could not be blocked. I remember pissing off lots of opponents this way.
***** The tier list changes every time you start the game. He means the weakest character in general. I agree because he was sort of like TJ Combo, but without the sheer power. Still liked playing with him though!
Kj16V Fulgore only has 1 linker and all of his animations are extremely predictable, and he is slower than most of the cast. The fact that Sabrewulf has projectiles in this game makes him all the more powerful. And he has free combo breaker status howl.

I remember as a kid not being prepared for the sounds Sabrewulf made after being shot to death. Pretty brutal.
