      What the heck are you talk about she accepted it and made a speech. Nobody forced her to get into acting in fact she made a good salary and bought a very beautiful house. My dad [white] fought in WW2 and came home to live in small apt, later AFTER I WAS BORN he did buy us a nice home..

    Addressed to the Writer(s)/Presenter of this Video: I am continually in a quandary as to why all those who write and present their respective narratives on (I guess) important people, which include the luminaries of Hollywood, have such an incredibly limited vocabulary in the area of descriptors. Why are the terms "icon" and "iconic" continually used in these numerous videos, when long ago they should have been recognized as cliches, as tired, worn-out words, that offer absolutely nothing to the written or spoken discussion here? Those who resort to using such terms demonstrate their stupidity and their lack of creativity, and inability--or lack of desire, to consult a thesaurus, which is a book a synonyms, i.e., a book of similar words, to find and subsequently use similar descriptors that can elevate/heighten their writings to fresher, more spontaneous, and, ultimately, more fascinating narratives. ~drs (01/05/24)

    • @thehangmansdaughter1120
      @thehangmansdaughter1120 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I too wonder why anyone would bother to say "iconic". It's come to mean nothing at all, worn out from overuse, and become bland. It is the mashed potatoes of accolades. One would hope that writers would have a broader vocabulary, but as is often the case in public discourse, one would be bitterly disappointed.

    Really???!?? I just threw up watching this comparison in your video!!! 🤢🤢🤮🤮 Come on, Ms. Mojo…you can do better than this!!!! I mean, in this video you DARE to put Rachel Meghan Markle’s career in the SAME category as Rita Hayworth, AND, (oh my goodness), Princess Grace’s former big screen career before marrying royalty! Seriously?!?! RMM was not even the headliner on a cable tv show that she was actually being written out of at the time she became Mrs. Harry Windsor! She’s (based on her depth of acting portfolio) not worthy of being listed in this category! She gave up NOTHING!!! Absolutely NOTHING! She was fortunate to marry into the Royal family and she was given a beautiful wedding and the opportunity to do so many positive things for others! She threw that away but she did bring her husband (whose“I do” to RMM, elevated her celebrity status) to California so that hopefully his clout could afford her the kind of status she longed for and the kind those other two actresses (Princess Grace and Rita Hayworth) had actually achieved BEFORE marrying their royal spouses.
    Bummer on this video!
