Elizabeth Taylor and Debbie reconciled not decades later but 5 years later. Reynolds was on Taylor's will at the end. Both were brave caring generous and beautiful humans.

Feuds in Hollywood have been occurring since time immemorial. I really wasn't aware of those TV shows feuds, even though a few shows from your list were telecast in my part of the world. Most actors who become sensations overnight, with little or no struggle, suddenly start throwing tantrums because they don't approve of the parts they are being offered. They talk big about wanting to be nominated for an Oscar with just a few releases. These actors are either suspended or dropped from their contracts because they make derogatory remarks about the work being offered to them and also unflattering remarks against the studio. Case in point is Lori Nelson, who was dropped from the TV show: How to marry a millionaire because of her derogatory remarks against Fox studios. There were rumours about feuds between those sister Olivia De Havilland and Joan Fontaine, plus who can forget those Gabor sisters, Zsa Zsa and Eva? If there was one scandal or feud that hit the world it was the one between that vixen Elizabeth Taylor and our sweet Debbie Reynolds. Even in 2023, the world will never forgiven Taylor for snatching away Eddie Fisher from Debbie and leaving her life in tatters. Debbie slowly picked up the pieces of her life and soldiered on, the great trouper that she was. Taylor dropped Fisher like an old shoe once she found Richard Burton [on the set of Cleopatra] to quench her ever-lusting thirst. Despite all her declared beauty and the so-called mauve eyes, i can never be called a Liz Taylor fan because she was the devil incarnate. From all Debbie Reynolds fans, "we are sure you are in Heaven sweet Debs, and we all love you"!!!
Betty vs. Joan: one called the other "Hollywood's worse case of syphilis" and while she screamed constantly, the other "knitted a scarf that stretched halfway to Malibu." I'm not even going to mention which of the two in particular said or did what.
Definite shame--she's one of those women who ages with total grace. She took care of herself and honestly, she looks better as time's gone on. She's still got that light in her that hasn't let the craziness in life snuff out or diminish yet.
You can say that again. Look at her performance in "Mommie Dearest," in which she played Joan Crawford (who, ironically, was one of the actresses mentioned in this video), who was shown as being cruel and abusive towards her stepchildren, especially her stepdaughter, Christina, whose book of the same title was the inspiration for the film.
…got that right! Love her angst driven sensibility. Funny how she is that very persona during those few moments our paths collided. Even though at times she tries to dial it down but she gets triggered in a blink of an eye.
Lol😂 Carrie talking about Elizabeth Taylor is too funny. It’s like “ I don’t like wishing Ill on people but Liz invited a special kind of rage from me “
I still love charmed even though I haven't watched it in a few years, it sucks that Prue died and she actually could have lived even with Rose McGowan still coming on as the fourth sister, the show would have been so much better with all four of them defeating instead of just with only three of them
I have a very hard time believing Sinatra wanted to be the Don in the Godfather. VERY hard time. The character Johnny Fontaine was rumored to be based on him, therefore, confirming the rumors that he had strong Mafia connections, both things he vehemently denied. How can you be in the Godfather, especially portraying the Godfather, and not have people conjecture you actually are a Mafioso? The movie did have lesser roles played by actual hit men. Too much has been written about this and documentaries made about the making of the Godfather that talk about Sinatra's hatred of the movie and Fontaine, especially.
EXACTLY...Like, Dallas 2012, The All-New Leave It To Beaver, Make Room For Grandaddy, What's Happening Now? Saved By The Bell's 4th Installment. &: 90210.
Re: The Late Raquel Welch, The Powers-That-Be Of MGM Drastically Changed By 2001, Where She Appeared In "Legally Blonde", As The First Wife Of A Murder Victim/Mother Of The Killer.
Marilyn was never anything but kind to Jayne. Please don't malign such a sweet and intelligent lady. Why not feature something cool like Marilyn's friendship with Ella Fitzgerald?
@colettelee1162: Uh, did you read the title? It’s about feuds. Marilyn Monroe may appear sweet to you but ask Billy Wilder and George Cukor about her lack of professionalism on SOME LIKE IT HOT and SOMETHINGS GOTTA GIVE (which was never completed due to her.)
Sara Jessica Parker was always a bratty diva from what many cast members have said in the past. Maybe some humility would do her good. No one likes a bully.
It's a shame the studio contributed so much to the feud between Bette and Joan, thinking that if they pitted the two women against each other, they'd get better performances.
Important: Joan Rivers was not just a guest. When she was a guest early in, she always made him laugh, so she came many times. SO, Johnny at some point wanted a 4 day work week occasionally, and so he announced formerly that she would be the OFFICIAL GUEST HOST. That had never happened before nor did it ever happen again. And yeah, when FOX offered her a Late Night show & she accepted, Johnny was pizzed and never forgave her.
I’m team Dame Olivia de Havilland. I think she was a better actor than her sister. I didn’t know they were so close in age. She and Miss Bette Davis were close friends.
2:48 ok I need to correct this: yes Marilyn didn’t like Jayne Mansfield. But Sophia Loren didn’t have a problem with her in fact she liked her but the picture caught her looking at Jayne’s breasts more out of curiosity. To this day when people ask her to autograph that picture she says no. “out of respect for Jayne”
Sinatra was a massively talented person, but not the greatest actor. He would not have made as good a Sky Masterson. However, it was as if the part of Nathan Detroit was written for Frank.
the rock vs everyone. apparently rock's ego has grown to the point he can do a fast and furious movie with anyone from the family (statham included). he also sabotaged shazam 2 in a favor of black adam.
I've heard that the rock actually has a clause in his film contracts that his character is not allowed to ever lose any fight scene he films. Talk about an ego!
...and bruce willis. for most of the decade it was arnold vs sly. then die hard happend. both felt threatened by an ordinary looking guy off the street becoming an action hero.
Feud 1: Susan Sarandon, while a great actress (despite being the catalyst in our country's downfall by handing the election to W with her insistence on dividing people to shoehorn Nader into the conversation), couldn't hold a candle to the fabulous Bette Davis. Feud 2: While I loved Crawford, by all accounts she was a horrible human being. Davis was no saint herself, but paled in comparison to Crawford in misdeeds. Bette far outshone the just above average Joan. Feud 3: Any universe in which Frank Sinatra could pose ANY even miniscule threat to Marlon Brando's acting chops is laughable at best; tragedy at worst - unless it was a music battle. Old Blue Eyes could only surpass Brando for The Godfather if they decided they wanted a real mobster instead of an actor who brilliantly played the horrific but also loveable Vito Corleone. On the Waterfront, Guys and Dolls - Marlon was fantastic. Even on his hammiest day he was lightyears ahead of Sinatra in the acting world. Lastly, Doherty may have been a bit of a hellion over the years, Milano was a beyotch. Still is.
I literally can not imagine anyone but Brando in The Godfather. I just tried to run his parts through my mind with Sinatra in his place and it didn't work. Cognitive dissonance.
Did Shannon Doherty get on with anyone? Every story about her suggests she's a nightmare. Then there was Marilyn Monroe and Tony Curtis, Marilyn Monroe and Ethel Merman, Marilyn Monroe and Richard Widmark. What about Madonna and Lady Gaga? Or does that not count because only one of them is an actor?
Jayne Mansfield, who was the bride of Hercules (Mickey Hargitay) and the mother of "Justice" (Mariska Hargitay) had an IQ of 149. Elizabeth Taylor was...great as (but a little too old to play) Cleopatra. I am thinking of her scenes with Julius Caesar (Rex Harrison) they really needed a younger version of the actress for that.

Betty vs. Joan: one called the other "Hollywood's worse case of syphilis" and while she screamed constantly, the other "knitted a scarf that stretched halfway to Malibu." I'm not even going to mention which of the two in particular said or did what.
Eddie Fisher leaving his wife and child for Liz Taylor is like Ethan Slayer-Ariana Grande scandal. You'll be adding them later on in your list.
@onceblinkerfrommars1412: It was not one child that Fisher had with Reynolds but two.
@@johnpickford4222 Damn, poor kids
Now I gotta Google this!
WTH 🤦♂️ happened?
The "rivalry" of Marilyn Monroe vs Jane Mansfield was sadly little more than the by product of Mansfield's ambition.
Rip Debbie reylonds and Elizabeth Taylor
its Reynolds Not Reyolds
@@mattalan6618You misspelled their misspelling. You look pretty silly.

Joan and Bette....that was for real. Even this many years later, you can FEEL it!
Raquel Welch was so good as a caricature of herself on an episode of Seinfeld. It's a shame that sexism and ageism hurt her career.
Definite shame--she's one of those women who ages with total grace. She took care of herself and honestly, she looks better as time's gone on. She's still got that light in her that hasn't let the craziness in life snuff out or diminish yet.
You forgot I Love Trouble with Nick Nolte and Julia Roberts both of them did not get along during production.
Alyssa and shannon feud totally belongs on this list

I saw that coming before the vid started!

No one plays an angry woman better than Faye Dunaway. 😮
She's an incredible actress and absolutely gorgeous too
Lol😂 Carrie talking about Elizabeth Taylor is too funny. It’s like “ I don’t like wishing Ill on people but Liz invited a special kind of rage from me “
I still love charmed even though I haven't watched it in a few years, it sucks that Prue died and she actually could have lived even with Rose McGowan still coming on as the fourth sister, the show would have been so much better with all four of them defeating instead of just with only three of them
Debbie Reynolds must have forgiven Elizabeth Taylor, given that Reynolds became Taylor's carer in Taylor's last few years.
Career*
@@Tomboyy9818she was even mentioned in Elizabeth's will
@@Tomboyy9818No, carer as in she provided care for her.
Exactly And Especially When Sinatra Unsuccessfully Sued Paramount On The "Johnny Fontane" Character.
@@sharolddelilahkelly8005 I didn't know that! TY for that info.
Debbie Reynolds and Elizabeth eventually became good friends.
Yes they did
Reynolds ended up being Taylor's carer.
They were friends when Elizabeth had the affair with Debbie's husband. But you're right, they rebuilt their friendship.
AJLT is not a reboot, it's a revival.
....
Winger AND Nolte... that must have been pure fun for the director.
Frank Sinatra didn’t want The Godfather filmed, as portrayed in The Offer, which you showed a clip from.
Milano is just miserable. Who wouldnt argue with her?
Marilyn was never anything but kind to Jayne. Please don't malign such a sweet and intelligent lady. Why not feature something cool like Marilyn's friendship with Ella Fitzgerald?
@colettelee1162: Uh, did you read the title? It’s about feuds. Marilyn Monroe may appear sweet to you but ask Billy Wilder and George Cukor about her lack of professionalism on SOME LIKE IT HOT and SOMETHINGS GOTTA GIVE (which was never completed due to her.)
Elizabeth Taylor was gorgeous! 💜
Definitely #1 ❤
Sara Jessica Parker was always a bratty diva from what many cast members have said in the past. Maybe some humility would do her good. No one likes a bully.
Faye Dunaway vs Bette Davis
Beautiful!
Shannon Doherty made the choice to leave charmed due to the direction the show was going thanks to brad kerns the showrunner
What this doesn't mention is that Rose McGowan didn't like Alissa Milano either. She called Milano crazy...
@@Deborahtunes I totally get why rose didn't like Alyssa
@@angelaholmes8888 ~ Me too...
It's a shame the studio contributed so much to the feud between Bette and Joan, thinking that if they pitted the two women against each other, they'd get better performances.
Wow, it's incredible how much Mariska Hargitay looks like her mother
Important: Joan Rivers was not just a guest. When she was a guest early in, she always made him laugh, so she came many times. SO, Johnny at some point wanted a 4 day work week occasionally, and so he announced formerly that she would be the OFFICIAL GUEST HOST. That had never happened before nor did it ever happen again. And yeah, when FOX offered her a Late Night show & she accepted, Johnny was pizzed and never forgave her.
I knew Joan and Bette had to be number 1.🤣🤣 Never knew about Shannon and Alyssa. Sad that Johnny and Joan couldn't make amends.
"Amends" is one word, not two.

Hedda Hopper and Louella Parsons

@@michaelpalmieri7335 Hedda Hopper was an actress, but the title of the video is: "Infamous Hollywood Feuds".
I’m team Dame Olivia de Havilland. I think she was a better actor than her sister. I didn’t know they were so close in age. She and Miss Bette Davis were close friends.
I had to pick one the Ariana Grande few
Helen Mirren 💥 Glenn Close
2:48 ok I need to correct this: yes Marilyn didn’t like Jayne Mansfield. But Sophia Loren didn’t have a problem with her in fact she liked her but the picture caught her looking at Jayne’s breasts more out of curiosity. To this day when people ask her to autograph that picture she says no. “out of respect for Jayne”
Sinatra was a massively talented person, but not the greatest actor. He would not have made as good a Sky Masterson. However, it was as if the part of Nathan Detroit was written for Frank.
Worked with Faye. Difficult is kind.
Bette Davis rules!
So who is team Joan Crawford, and who is team Bette Davis?
I'm team bette Davis
I like both, but I'm team Joan💯
Team Bette. Joan as an actress couldn't hold a candle.
I'm Team Bette Davis.
Team Joan but I also love Bette
the rock vs everyone. apparently rock's ego has grown to the point he can do a fast and furious movie with anyone from the family (statham included). he also sabotaged shazam 2 in a favor of black adam.
I've heard that the rock actually has a clause in his film contracts that his character is not allowed to ever lose any fight scene he films. Talk about an ego!
The Rock v "Stone Cold" Steve Austin
The Rock v John Cena
etc.
@theojames I read that Vin Diesel has the same clause in his contracts.
I loved the Rock as a wrestler, but the movie star Rock annoys me so much. Now I know why.
Jayne Mansfield was so beautiful!
The most epic, brutal and rancorous rivalry of all time was between Errol Flynn and Jack Klugman.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that! Thanks for reminding me.
Still is.
Mojo,talk about Natalie Wood
I literally can not imagine anyone but Brando in The Godfather. I just tried to run his parts through my mind with Sinatra in his place and it didn't work. Cognitive dissonance.
what about Elmo Vs Rocko ? :P
The last one, you can see Will Smith nodding as if he just wants to slap her hard in the face.
Yes Msmojo this reminds me of the girl group scandal countdown
Did Alyssa Milano change her opinion of Shannen Doherty after finding out about Doherty's cancer.
Berber heard about the beef between Faye Dunaway & Roman Polanski
Did Shannon Doherty get on with anyone? Every story about her suggests she's a nightmare.
Then there was Marilyn Monroe and Tony Curtis, Marilyn Monroe and Ethel Merman, Marilyn Monroe and Richard Widmark.
What about Madonna and Lady Gaga? Or does that not count because only one of them is an actor?
Polanski doesn’t have the right to complain about ANYONE. The guy is literally a criminal
Faye is true. Worked on an Indy with her.
For me it would be Prince and MJ's rivalry 😂
I've always thought Bette Davis was a better actress than Joan Crawford,I mean Bette had a hit song named after her.
She was.
She said that song made her cool in her grandkids eyes. Otherwise, she was just Grandma
Bette was the actress first. Joan was the movie star first.
Rip Marlon Brando
I never knew that there was a feud between Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra.
What about Backstreet Boys vs Nsync
That was complety fabricated.
