Tysm for this video. I was able to repair it today myself and got the part at Home Depot. I wouldn't have known to turn the water off and run the taps first. I've been a single parent for a decade and so appreciate help like this. Delta parts are a lifetime warranty so it was free!
Man!! Omg I thought I a leaky pipe!! For 2 years !! Now I just realized you helped me solve such a simple fix!! It’s hard to see something you can’t see!! Covered with stuff,Amen!! Thanks 👍
Thank you. The cartridge manufactured today was slightly different and I had to replace it with a new spring & the little rubber components, took a few trips turning on & off the water main, but I finally succeeded in stopping the leak and trail of water from the valve. You definitely saved me some money start off the new year.🙏🏾
It was good you didn't edit out the overflow from not letting the pipes bleed out enough before starting. That's actually very helpful to see why it's a good step to drain the pipes first.
RP25513-3 worked for my part replacement. Tub just like yours in video. Didn't need to do seats and springs. Didn't need new o rings. spend more time driving to and from HD. Original part was 16 years old.
This little th-cam.com/users/postUgkxVoi3B4CB6Oygq1-vo4OTL1M_M5JkrXif tub works perfect in our 6 x 6 shower and is easy to get in and out. Also easy to drain.
Hi. Can you tell me the model number for this bathtub faucet? I've looked everywhere and can't find it on mine. And it's about the year this one is, looks exactly like mine, thank you 😊
So I followed this and was successfully able to stop the leaking from the tap itself (just like at the start of this video). However, I now have a not so slow drip from the center faucet (as opposed to the side tap that was leaking before). Any hints (or videos!?!) on what may be going on there? Thank you.
Just call Delta customer service and they will mail you any replacement parts for free. They honor their warranty, no questions asked, only that you give them your Delta model number.

Why didn't you also replace the seat and spring while you had the cartridge out?
