Acceptance of a capitalist system that limits the number of Farmers, while promoting the international sales of commodities, is the fault of Americans who fall for the international image of Feeding the Planet.

Working at my main job as an engineer, I've received lead time estimates on electronic components as high as 76 weeks, and one major manufacturer (Texas Instruments) refused to provide an estimate at all.

Supply chain issues are still ridiculous. There was just a story on the news a big cigar factory less than 2 hours from here closing in a month. They are moving overseas somewhere.... We absolutely need more made in the USA!!!

If inflation is 0% why do they need to pass the “inflation reduction” bullshit 🤔🤦‍♂️

Hang in their brother, we don’t take for granted how important farmers are to this country. If you ever get in a bind again you can always reach out to small industries with c&c machines would maybe be compelled to help out with an emergency build. Just a thought. Even making it a colab video helping pay the service. I’ve seen it work.

Used to hang around my grandfather a lot when I was a kid, he saved everything, nuts, bolts, pipe fittings, whatever. Always claimed it was because he lived through the depression. Feels like we’re in the same boat now. Find myself doing the same kind of hoarding of spare parts and misc. now like he did back when I was a kid. Funny thing now is my wife is starting to complain like grandma did about the the junk around! Your crops look good Andy. Hopefully they get a drink soon. I’m about 1.5hrs south of you, and it seems a lot drier here than there. Take care.

Supply chain issues are strangling our lives. Fortunately for me we have a local machine shop that saved our asses. All I can say is EVERYTHING we need should be 100% made in the USA. In my opinion we would be better off it we lived in the 1950's... That's how long our local machine shop/blacksmith shop has been around.

I love your farm and just started watching your videos couple days ago. Just realized yesterday you are in NY. I just moved to TX but from WNY. Started watching TX cattle videos because it's really hot and wanted to learn situation about Tx. Learned about farmers selling their cattle because of cost. I found your video on random.

I have been in the garage door business for over thirty two years and having to wait on a common size, common door anywhere from eight weeks to thirty six weeks. Plum damn sickening.

In the 1980's I made a good living in a sewing factory named Big Yank in Tyrone, Pa. We sewed mens work shirts and pants. Made flannel shirts in the summer too. Well that lasted for about ten years being layed off and then brought back till it was closed forever. I have lost five good paying jobs to either closures or packing up to go to Japan, Mexico or China. Our farmer's need our prayers and to keep watch over our so called government. If we don't get our heads in the game and VOTE this November. Then watch the Constitution disappear and hear even more lies from the media. So tired of the 💩 being driven down our throats! We have had rain showers here in the middle of Pennsylvania Sunday and are calling for showers Monday and Tuesday. So praying to get you some rain too! 🙋🙏🇺🇸🕊

Praying for all of our great farmers to get the moisture they need to get the best crop possible. Because the world needs it.

Your comments about your daughter going to college brought a tear to my wife's eye. Our youngest daughter is 37 now, with a Bachelors from Purdue in West Lafayette, Indiana, (lots of my $$$) and a Masters from Eastern Michigan. You brought back a lot of good memories. Thank-you.

I agree, the supply chain sucks. I can't get any Rotella motor oil for our diesel truck and the wife says the grocery stores are constantly out of most things we need. The price of everything out here in Arizona is just ridiculous as with every where else I'm sure. All thanks to Pres. Tapioca pudding brain.

Hey Andy, David from Texas. You're the 2nd person from New York that I can relate to. Our former and hopefully future President Donald John Trump!! My grandfather was a dairy/wheat farmer in Oklahoma. My late brother and I would go to the farm during summer break from school to help him. What a summer education!

They put sophisticated electronics on farm equipment. We can build parts for the mechanical equipment with machine tools. But the electronic shit when it fails and there's no supply, your equipment is junk. That's why I farm with antiques.
