I've used the Ryobi edger attachment for over 15 years, by the way the "Echo" stick edger blade will too work on the Ryobi attachment, and they are about $3.00 at NC's Agri-Supply. the HART edger attachment is exactly identical to the Ryobi edger but is sold at Walmart cheaper along with the other Hart/Ryobi attachments all but the straight shaft and sweeper attachment that Ryobi has but Hart don't have the gas powerheads but the 40 volt powerheads they are at Walmart Ryobi at Home Depot
I'll check that out. I would like to buy a hedge clipper attachment next. Do you have the 40v . I haven't used one and wonder if the rival they power of the gas model.
I had to throw away a 3-4 yr old edger yesterday. i was using the Lefty Lucy Righty method and it couldnt get it off. If only I had watch this video before attempting to remove.
No there isn't. Of course, if there were notches the height adjustment would only be temporary. As you continually use the edger the blade will wear down and your cut will get shallower.

Im sorry if this is a dumb question 🙋🏻♀️ 😂 What does “disengage plug wire “ mean ? Where is that at ? When you change the attachment yes you turn it off then loosen the part where you switch out the part to whatever other part you are changing it to. But is there another part that needs to be disconnected as recommended by the manufacturer?
Not a dumb question. This refers to the spark plug wire on gas weed eaters. It was a safety precaution that came from the Ryobi manual, and I should have made it clearer, especially since many people have battery units that don't even have spark plugs. Sorry for the confusion.
@@deerparkhomeshop2471 , I wondered, why not just pull the battery? Good video I'm getting ready to buy the battery string trimmer with an edger attachment.
