So, first of all, the name. We looked it up, we found the word in latin and pronounced it accordingly. It might sound weird, but that was the result of our digging. As for the game, solid enough euro, but i think all the extra actions options in the game make it somewhat of a nightmare at times, and can make players turns drag on and on. Oh, and you really have to trust that the player can actually do all those extra actions unless you are watching like a hawk and using tokens to count with them. One thing i would not call the design is elegant.
Looks like an amalgam of "Ticket to Ride", "Jaipur", "Azul", and, "Sagrada"... All excellent games in their own way, but perhaps overwhelming to play all four at once?
I really enjoy Tiletum- I have made a load of action tokens with the individual action symbols on so that specific actions are much easier to track in a turn where multiple types of actions may otherwise cause confusion. I also did some cardboard surgery and inserted magnets so the spiny disk thing sits more comfortably on its ‘axel’. I haven’t played Praga yet…which do you prefer?
maybe a tip for your latest video, make affiliate links to all the board games which you revieuw so people can buy through it and you get a small benefit from every purchase\
I'm cagey about affiliate links. The core behavior they drive is to up-sell a game. You become incentivized to say "game good" because "game good" means more sales. saying "Game bad" makes people less likely to click on the link that makes you money. To me, that becomes like working for the publisher.
I'm intensely not colour blind so frequently miss that sort of thing in my reviews. But in this one, the colour gradients are so gentle that it even stood out to me.

So many mechanics. This is like "Euro Game: The Board Game".
When i made that joke video about my fav euro game, i imagined it being something like this
THIS IS NOT BLUE.

Praga, but both are very busy games and i dont think ill be keeping either. I think id rather play something like Troyes or underwater cities
+1 for Troyes, such a fantastic game. Everyone's dice being available to use by anyone (for a cost) is brilliant.
Nice summary.
(I think of this as tile・tum)

What do board game designers have against us folks who have colour blindness?
I'm intensely not colour blind so frequently miss that sort of thing in my reviews. But in this one, the colour gradients are so gentle that it even stood out to me.
I'm not color blind, but DAMN, there ARE other colors than Grey, other grey, and slightly off-grey...
This is like someone made a game out of the exaggerated Euro Game mashup from a certain ProZD skit.
NOW WITH WHEAT!
Seems far, far too busy. More mechanics doesn't mean a better game (something the video game industry is slowly learning).
I agree very much. At some points it was a pain to keep track of everything happening.
First! no wait..
Yet another game based in Renesance Europe 😒
Well, at least its not based on European colonization. ;)
