Have the first gen 2003 Toyota Tundra 4.7 liter 190k miles. Fingers crossed, elbow, eyebrows, teeth crossed it has been a good truck.
First time watching his video. Did not know he only had the 3.4 liter engine.

Been following you, Jennifer, Gus, and Turbo for a couple of years, enjoying every minute. This is an aside about your video from April 2020 on loading string on a Kobalt trimmer. When I googled “how to”, your video was the first to pop up. It was Short and to the point, I had the string quickly loaded.
Thank you - Keep on rolling!

Nice. I love the power switch upgrade so you have 2 Wheel Drive low. I had an 85 forerunner with a marlin crawler dual case and I used 2 Wheel Dr. low all the time, with a front locker it just steers, much better on tight jeep trails in 2 Wheel drive.

A very informative video on what to do if the ADD unit failed and you are off road, and an easy fix when one does go to repair it provided it was an electric motor issue and not a mechanical issue.
All my previous four wheel drives had free wheeling hubs, that way I could leave the hubs in 2WD & engage low range to backup a trailer for the times when I needed the benefits of lower gears. An added benefit of 2WD low range is that it reduces wear on your clutch by not causing you to ride the clutch when backing up a trailer for more control.
My current 4WD (a diesel LR3) is the first with an automatic gearbox. With all the wiz-bang electronic traction aids it is great offroad. I can select low range on that one without worrying about damaging the drive train. I was totally against automatic gearboxes in a 4WD, but I must say I have turned. Automatic gearboxes and the electronic controls in a modern 4WD are a game changer.

I like your open air garage 👌 but your going to have a hard time this winter 🥶 keeping it heated 🌡️
I’m glad I got you before your garage floor has gone in. Depending on the lift you’re going to get check with the manufacturer of the lift and find out the floor requirements how thick, psi, rebar placement, electrical and if you’re going to run conduit in the concrete or not. You get the idea. Whenever you drill holes in the concrete you don’t want to hit the rebar. How high the ceilings should be before the building is put up.
By the way I truly appreciate your two channels and your almost at 500k on this and 411 on the other channel thanks again for your work Thumbs up 👍

that was the one of the perks to the 87 Toyota I drove back in the days. It had manual hubs so to pop a curb or creep around something on pavement all I had to do was put it in 4 low and it was just really 2wd creeper mode. any time there were parties and all the parking was taken up all you had to do was put it in low and pop the curb and park.
