Yup, mine too....electronic connections can be funny like that....glad it worked! I only figured this out after wasting about 2 hours doing all the driver updates and other crap...ugh.
It actually works, I thought you were just kidding. I had tried everything you said in the beginning of the video and nothing worked but this. I am totally happy. ; ) thank you
I've used nail polish (acetone) before...but use at your own risk. I'd recommend going to a drug store and picking up the alcohol for a couple of shekels.
No Luck.. Any other solution?
Simple and straight to the point. Thanks!
The pins did look shiny and clean on my Surface, but a simple wipe with alcohol worked.

Great to hear!
First TH-cam video I watched that was filmed in a bathroom and I made it out alive! Still don't know if it works yet...
I've had 3 keyboards that all stopped working. (Surface Pro original) this didn't fix it, but I'll figure it out. Might solder the dots.
worked for me, all I had around was some tincup whisky though lol
back to basics (check your leads)!!
Well earned subscribe man:)
Chris, thank you very much, it actually worked!
But what if I don't have rubbing alcohol? Can I use tissue only? Or is there any other way in settings or that does not require cleaning?

The problem is already solved, I bought a new keyboard.
