Quel super concert. Chanceux les gens qui étaient là. Mark knopfler à vraiment une "patte inimitable" reconnaissable entre mille. Il est avec David Gilmour un de mes guitaristes préférés. Avec quelques autres, aussi singuliers également comme l'excellent Bryan May, Joe satriani, Steve vaï, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Hendrix.... Et j'en oublie. Pardon je m'égare. Merci Mark pour toute ton œuvre, avec Dire Straits, en solo, avec des guests parfois., et toujours avec des musiciens talentueux. Merci pour Ride Across the river sur l'album brother in arms. Merci pour tout, et que cela dure encore longtemps 🙏🙏🎸🎸

@@hartholz7015 Oui, désolé j'ai oublié Jeff Beck, qui lui aussi était reconnaissable entre mille, mais je l'écoute moins, alors il ne m'est pas venu en tête. Mais j’ai oublié Mike Oldfield que j’adore aussi,et lui aussi très reconnaissable, et beaucoup d'autres, BB King,Chuck Berry,Matthias Jabbs...liste non exhaustive...Merci de me l'avoir rappelé,.Je ne détiens de toute façon le bon goût absolu, et tous les goûts sont dans la nature, heureusement. 🙏👍
@davgilmore6858 Il y a aussi Steve Cropper, du temps de Booker T. & The M.G.'s, qui a produit un disque du Jeff Beck Group. Je n’arrive pas à comprendre comment il est attaché à la Telecaster. J'ai joué, une fois pas deux, cette guitare, ensuite son propriétaire m'a dit "Tu as beaucoup plus de possibilités d'expression avec ta guitare -- une MM Sabre II (c'est-à-dire avec les petites frettes) -- que moi avec cette Telecaster".
Ma première guitare électrique était une Strat, un modèle qui avait dû être fabriqué en Asie. La deuxième était une autre Strat F., qui semblait venir de Los Angeles, avec la bonne valise de F. La MM était plus légère que les deux Strat, aussi de Leo Fender, très puissante avec le préampli et les deux bons humbuckers. J'ai eu plusieurs copies de la G. ES 335, parce que l’original pesait une tonne, pour m'adonner au blues. Je mettais des S.D. et elles n'étaient plus du tout comme à l'achat.
Ma meilleure guitare fut une Yam., un modèle solid body assez bateau achetée outre-mer. Mais après être rentré en France, j'ai mis des S.D. des plus puissants et j'ai retaillé le corps, pour l'alléger et la rendre plus fonctionnelle, et même le manche. Le résultat était extraordinaire. Même une PRS n'aurait pas fait le poids à côté.
J'ai eu la première Strat peu de mois après l'achat de "Wired" de Jeff, et de "L" de Steve Hillage.

Niemand muss sich für seine Straße, seinen Weg "entschuldigen", subjektiv gibt es ehedem keinen besseren. Den Rest müssen die Nachkommen entscheiden, vielleicht entschuldigen. Aber über das, was ich von M.K. und zuvor auch D.S. gehört habe, freue ich mich bis heute, natürlich auch sehr alt geworden. Freue mich, wenn heute und danach was bei Menschen mit alten und völlig neuen Problemen ankommt. Für mich: War sehr faul, und mich nicht arg bemüht, Fremdsprachen als Schüler über das nötigste hnaus zu erlernen. Manchmal habe ich nur Musik und Instrumente versucht, an mein Herz heranzulassen. Mark Knopfler und seinen Gitarren ist es über Jahrzehnte gelungen. Respekt und Glück Auf von der Ruhr!!!!

Every night I watch and listen to the old "Sultans of Swing", Mark with his head band on and his sexual smirk on his face. . .Well, I am 86 years old now, and he will be forever my absolut favorite solo Guitarist This performance is just a tip to slow for me......he transformed me into a very young woman half of my life ... when I would be his stylist, I would still try to keep his appearance alive by putting him in a modern silk T-shirt instead of a suit ....and a head band. Well - - just a dream.

Knopfler is such a brilliant artist and storyteller in his lyrics. Damn great guitarist. Picked him up in 1985 when I was in high school. All the rockers loved the long hair beauties. I loved the guitar and the groove. Discovered his stories are accurate with history. Rock us on Knopfler!
Ich bin bereits seit vielen Jahren ein großer Fan der Dire Straits und Mark Knopfler und ich muss sagen, der Mann wird immer besser.
Das ist eigentlich unmöglich , denn da müsste er mal Mittelmaß gewesen sein.
Da er aber schon immer einer der Besten, der Besten war, ist kaum noch eine Steigerung möglich.
Er schafft es jedoch immer, mir mit seinen Liveauftritten eine Gänsehaut zu bereiten......

Klasse, dass man Reggea musisch inrtegriert, das reicht eigentlich um zu verstehen, dass auch in der westlichen Kultur nicht alles richtig gelaufen ist. Das Ding in Straßburg ging ja ab 2019. Hat was für mich von einem Menschen mit Geschichte, was war, was ist, was kommt.... Danke! M.K. versteht vieles. Hoffe, dass seine Botschaft angekommen ist, ankommt, und auch in 1 oder 5 und mehr Jahren noch ernst genommen wird und gehört findet..... Vielleicht sind es weniger seine Worte als sein unglaubliches Verständnis für den Einsatz seines Instrumentes, der Gitarre, und dem unglaublichen Sinn für Harmonie und Harmonien, die ich in dieser Welt immer seltener finde, obwohl der Wunsch danach ja überall auf der Erde lebt und Heimat hat..... Vielleicht kommt M.K.s Botschaft ja nicht nur in Europa, sondern auch in Nordamerika und viel weiter an. Sie wäre es wert gehört zu werden, vor allem die Musik, die Worte können folgen, wenn die Musik gehört und verstanden wird. Glück Auf!!!!

Beautiful Live Concert at Strasbourg😍
Listening to Mark brings me back to the early carefree college days, and just a few years after, when he left Dire Straits to pursue works on his own. His work w/ Chet Atkins, Nottingham Hillbillies in the early 90’s brings back bittersweet yet cherished memories. Some folks have comfort food, listening to Mark for me is comfort music.
Je dois dire que moi j'ai de souvenirs chéris de Mark. Comme les autres j'ai suivé sa musique et même je dois dire que ce sont les morceaux que j'ai dans ma tête et pour toujours ce sont les originaux qui reste et pour toujours. Les souvenirs d'en autre temps dans ma vie. Il y avait longtemps je suis allé à un concert de Mark à Genève avec mon fils, maintenant qui a 50ans et est musicien professionnel en place a Genève et partout en Suisse et ici en France. Ce concert de Mark a --excusez moi ce nest pas un pun -marqué moi- je crois le meilleur concert de ma longue vie. Merci Mark. J'ai des larmes a l'oeil, avec joie, quand j'ecrire ces lignes de vrai gratitude a toi. God Bless you. And that's all from an expatriot écossais ici en France...

Last time he gave a concert in Budapest I asked my friend whether Knopfler had long short hair., I did not see hím quiite well as we had money only for the last row. She answered: But he's bold. My reply was: I don't care, I,m in love with his music and this love will never die!

I love that Mark is playing a Les Paul for much of this show... I've just always felt like that is the guitar that him the most dynamic range with his fingerstyle playing... I only remember it in two reocordings that I could recognize... Money for Nothing and my favorite song of his "Brothers in Arms" ..... his touch is still quite magical....

Dios quiera que nos pueda deleitar durante mucho tiempo con su música y que lo podamos verde nuevo en concierto en Valencia tierra de artistas y buenos músicos.
