Hi, sorry for the late reply mate. No there wont be any rust since it has a very very good paint. But I baught myself a cover, this one: amzn.to/3x9YLrE
And this protects the grill from the weather :-)
Honestly the black paint wont be as nice as it is the first time when I built it up. But thats the same with a silver one. I hope I could help
