Hey Nicole, you will grow all these plants very well. I have no doubt. You grow your flowers so well, in your gardens, you will do well. Just make sure you keep fertilizing your pots from the smallest to biggest. But you already know this. 😊 Oh and tell your customers too, to fertilize every 7-10 days. Then they will keep blooming. Customers cannot say..."they are not blooming!" Next year you will be growing all your own plugs for your hanging baskets. Also, a couple of videos ago you mentioned that you did not know what to put in hanging baskets. You are able to put together a beautiful bouquet. You will have no problem to design your own hanging basket. By the way, Geraniums are really easy to grow. They germinate well and just grow. They just take 3 - 4 months to be big enough to sell. Oh Nicole,,, this is, so far one of my all time favorite videos from FHF ! It is seriously starting to look like a nursery/greenhouse. And it is exciting to watch a business come to life like this. [2] Also, you ordered the very kinds of things I would be buying if I lived in the area. Where I live, I go to the nursery/greenhouses and most are carrying the PW basket combinations, and they are simply horrible combinations. the PW employee's who are designing the combinations have such WONKY eyes for design. Things thrown in baskets that simply do NOT look good together. I just shake my head at how ugly some are. These baskets you are showing, are totally GORGEOUS! [3] I am VERY fond of Vinca Vines yet most places have stopped carrying them. Not sure why, but I go to several places just to find some. I am confident this is going to be a great beginning for this new venture. It's FANTASTIC!!! [4] This video [ like many previous ones ] really throws me back [ flashbacks] to my late teens and 20's working in a nursery/greenhouse/floral shop,, doing all these very jobs plus floral design. I learned to germinate, propagate [mostly in sand beds] and plant up endless trays of starters. Then potting into the larger pots, packs, cells etc. Plus studying horticulture and agriculture at the same time at the University. It was literally consuming my life, as it seems to be effecting your entire family and friends. It's fantastic !!! lol G R E A T J O B !!!

You're absolutely right about the ferns. They aren't hard to grow, but you MUST keep them moist. I worked for a grower for nine years and if a day passes without water, they will wilt and they will not be saleable. Also, they need a shade cloth over the hoop house where ever the they will hang. I don't know how hot it gets up there in the summer, but in Texas it gets extremely hot in the hoop houses and we had to take them out and place them out on tables that were 60 percent shade. We did about 1500 baskets a year.

All the plannts are gorgeous and I love how your aunt propped the vines up on a box. Tender loving care. The hanging basket combos are ones I've never seen before and they are all amazing combinations. People are going to love these including "Sky Full of Stars." It took my breath away with all the color tones and speckles.

So you end up with questions and saying so what . That apricot begonia is like one I have in the front garden. It grows to about two feet and is so incredibly beautiful! I'm so excited for all your plants! You have your work cut out for you now. Good thing you have such an awesome family to help.

Beautiful plants for baskets. I loved making baskets for a boutique nursery. We would do 20-30 inch baskets and they were pricy but we catered to specific clients for the large baskets. The customer would always ask me, what kind of guarantee we had on the baskets, I would always tell them, " I guarantee they will die if you don't water them!" That was our guarantee.
I think I was just as excited as you to see all those baby plants, how cute are they 😍 pretty sure we are all counting down the weeks until we can plant 😁 . I currently have over 2 thousand baby plants growing in my living room 🙈😂 and can't wait until they grow into beautiful plants.
AHHHH I wish I could help pot all those up! So many pretty things! The fuchsia are my favorite flowers of all time. Ohmygosh, I want one each of those combo baskets. So pretty! You did a great job picking those out.

Keep your ferns in shaded light with lots of humidity & moisture. Check with your nursery owner friends; I worked at a huge nursery & we often had to prune off the buds & flowers from baby plants so they put there energy into root/shoot size growth...eventually you will only need to clean up/ deadhead your 4" + size potted plants as they are on your sale tables. Geraniums have to be especially tended, snipping certain leaves & bloom stems. Wonderful selections 🥰!!! Best wishes forward 🤩

Ferns love a drink of brewed tea. I know a lady that had a nursery and she used that to perk up her ferns. Not hot of course. Your haul is going to be gorgeous.
I think that greenery hanging basket is beautiful. I’d probably put it in a pot, as I am not tall and couldn’t appreciate its beauty as much hanging above me!
So exciting! Those baby ferns are just the sweetest. And yes, when I've bought geranium hanging baskets I also pick up the dark red. After the Rain is my favorite combo.

That's what we have been doing too! Receiving plants for our greenhouses every week in snowy upper Wisconsin.

So exciting! Those baby ferns are just the sweetest. And yes, when I've bought geranium hanging baskets I also pick up the dark red. After the Rain is my favorite combo.
