I’ve relied off of experimenting, trail and error, and whatever info I can gleam from the post-your-curve channel in the raw accel discord and this video has given me a better understanding of how the things I’ve been experimenting with work.
I’ve tried raw accel today and instantly saw results. This video helped me get familiar with some of the settings and found a curve that feels right. I’ve never been more accurate while being able to turn fast. I no longer lift my mouse and adjust as often.
what curve are you running? Im still looking at default linear curves and i know i need raw accel (played games for 10 years using a trackpad, which, if you dont know, automatically has an acceleration program installed, or else the trackpad would be SUPER slow)

Mouse I'm using is SPC LIX which uses PMW3325 sensor that behaves badly above 2100DPI, as tested by some reviewers. In FPS games I might change it down a bit depending on game, will go anywhere between 800dpi and 1600dpi. So anyway I have it set to jump accel from 1600 to 3200 (because sens multiplier = 1) and I just lower it in game to 0.5. I get good micro adjustments and can still do nice flicks. Using finger grip, aiming with mostly wrist, but do make adjustments with fingers and arm. No rotation as my horizontal lines are very nice, 0 slope. 1.25 Y/X ratio. I've only used this for few hours but I don't think I can comfortably play FPS games anymore without rawaccel. Oh and I'm fiddling around with classic curves but I think jump is better.

Hey west!! ive toyed around with this curve and it feels pretty good! i had a quick question - is this a good curve for someone who prefers a low sens generally on all games even without accel, but the speed at which i can 180/flick being fast is nice. is this a good curve for that? it feels like it. i run 0.14 in game 800dpi w/ the same curve settings at 8:14
A pro everyone should consider: the most accurate aim anyone has is wrist aim. When you have to use your arm to aim you usuallly have to micro adjust with your wrist. Your accel curve allows you to use your wrist for all types of big flicks and micro adjustments. Meaning your flicks can potentially become as accurate as your micro adjustments.
So, I'm just having one issue, and it is that my raw accel graph completely stops when I change tab, so I can't really record it because it doesn't show anything unless I'm focused on the raw accel window. nvm, if anyone is having this issue just run Raw Accel as administrator.

Can you elaborate a little bit on why you felt Natural felt like a burden? I tried classic curve out for a while and even got some high scores with it, but it almost felt like I was fighting my mouse when aiming in an actual game. I guess I really don't like a delay when aiming even tho it makes sense for tac FPS'. Natural feels a lot more comfortable to me in game, even though I'm playing csgo and valorant mostly. My number 1 recommendation to aim lab players is just to get kvks and stop wasting their time. If the community was capable of editing their built in scens ok cool then it’s fine, but where you have to start from scratch or pull up some weird file manipulation just to edit a scenario you didn’t make, it doesn’t have the scen diversity to be used. If you absolutely had to play al, Ik rA strafeclick is a good scen since I told odb to make it for me, other than that they have some hnA guide variant that may or may not work idk, and that’s it. With this level of limitations, you can run the same 3 playlists every day, but you’ll miss out on a lot of important skills. All for the sake of saving the price of a Val battle pass. Idk why anyone would do that

The first number that I got was an average of 4 counts/ms and subtracting 10 (flat part of my curve using power of 3) from this would give a negative number. Does that just mean my input offset is 0?
hey I saw a vid of urs where it was about how pivoting on ur arm was bad and only rlly worked for games like cs where aim is mostly horizontal so would u suggest not pivoting ur arm at all and floating it above the desk, because if so I really struggle to make that comfortable for one it gets tiring which is natural at first but it just feels awkward to do, would positoning my chair higher/desk lower help as it could maybe be a posture thing idk?
Not exactly. Think of pivoting in that context as the lack of the ability to move your arm vertically. It’s not the pivoting motion itself that’s an issue, but rather the idea of an unmoving pivot point. Your arm can touch the mouse pad, just don’t have so much pressure on it that it can’t also move up down and across your pad. If that is impossible your chair may be too high
@@WestProter ok thanks another thing i wanted to ask about was micro adjusting it makes perfect sense to do it, however in game I can never do them I think its a mental thing I feel like ill take too much time focusing on the micro adjusting ill just get killed
@@Vo1dWalk3r7 the part of your brain that allows you to understand the motion of a micro adjustment and that you use to tell yourself to make them is different from the part that understands what muscles need to move and actually makes them. Does Raw Accel hurt ur aim long term for example if I were to stop using Raw Accel after using it for a year would my natural aim be worse than it was before? Also is there a “best” graph layout or curve for valorant im currently using natural.
For the first question, I would recommend training with it off somewhat frequently to avoid under developing certain muscles, for the second, if a curve works it works
All i need is short definition of each setting: 1. What Acceleration do? 2. What is Input and output? 3. What is offset? 4. What is Power? Then i can easily change what feels off with my curve
Even when I turn acceleration off completely and disable it, my sens is still super fast. Shutting down the program completely also doesn’t fix it. How can I go back?
Just play on a normal low/mid sens bro, uninstall the program while ur at it too it eats up ur CPU, make ur graphics and resolution low too for low input delay.

I doubt I'll get a response but lets say I get the perfect amount of accel on a .732 sens (400dpi) but .732 isn't the optimal base sens. How can I decrease the sens and still keep that level of accel?
hey i have what is probably a weird question but idk what to do about it. when i play a lower sens in val (.125 1600 is what i find i play best on in comp) i burnout after a few games for the whole day but on a higher one im not as consistent on (ive tried .22 .175 and .14 in deathmatch but not ranked) i can play longer just not as well. .14 used to be my old sens but i switched bc i wasnt consistent. what should i do about this?

I'm happy with the way I aim and perform in close and long gun fights, but it does take me a while to turn and flick quickly due to my sens. What settings would you suggest playing around with if I just wanted to make that easier?
The problem I have with using a high dpi is some games I play dont go as low as valorant, and I find it very awkward so thats the reason I will probably stay on 800 forever
so what shal I do if im comfortable with 1600dpi .125, BUT whiff long range/microflicks?? how would I keep it at a steady .07-.09 ingame, then ig speed up and cap at my comfortable sens .125

If you can do them in practice, when fighting just focus your conscious mind on the head and allow the adjustments to happen
3200 dpi and 0.1 sens good with classic raw accel settings?
i use natural 0.31 1600 dpi what should i do
could u make a similar guide for games like apex, overwatch?
maybe a dumb question, but how do you know if your cap is 1.5x or 2x your starting sens
the playlist is only for kovaak? i can't find aimlab tasks
ye
Thanks for the video! If we don't have Kovaaks, what should we do on Aim Lab to find our numbers?
NV Yay strafe
One small con to rawaccel: your mouse stops working and only works for 5 seconds after unplugging and replugging it in
There is a 1 second cooldown built in to rawaccel when switching sens so it could get whitelisted by anticheats
ive tried it and it crashed my game with no error, does anyone know what could be causing this, I turned raw accel off and it stopped crashing
2:59 is what map?
All i need is short definition of each setting:
1. What Acceleration do?
2. What is Input and output?
3. What is offset?
4. What is Power?
Then i can easily change what feels off with my curve
Unfortunately, you’re in the minority so yt promotes this video instead of the one where I do that nowadays
what scenario is @4:17?
WPV Multipeek Ascent
where is the playlist?
KovaaKsPushingVioletMount this isnt in your list of playlists. It doesnt show up in kovaaks either.
I kinda don’t get the last part about the 1.7 max speed. What am I supposed to look at on the graph in order to find a calculation for it
It’s just an approximation
Even when I turn acceleration off completely and disable it, my sens is still super fast. Shutting down the program completely also doesn’t fix it. How can I go back?
hello, does it save your settings when you close the applicatio
Is there a way to have this setting permanent or do I have to load up the program every time?
im having such a hard time lol , i play on 800 dpi 0.3 ingame and still cant figure this out
Just play on a normal low/mid sens bro, uninstall the program while ur at it too it eats up ur CPU, make ur graphics and resolution low too for low input delay.
I'm really confused tbh it feels so complicated especially the acceleration part even tho I have rewatched the vid for a lot of times
what playlist in the description? the google sheet? theres like 50 playlists
check again
@@WestProter aight bet thanks. i appreciate your videos and im subbed
How do you set up the OBS?
When I played fortnite I got used to hellaaa slow sens like my friend tried my sen and he higher the dpi by 800 to 1600 and he liked that so my sen is 500 dpi 1.4 what should I change it to pls tell me what I should change it to so I move my mouse pretty fast so I have to move my mouse like 3 time to do a 360 and I have a big mouse pad
do you need to let the program running?
I doubt I'll get a response but lets say I get the perfect amount of accel on a .732 sens (400dpi) but .732 isn't the optimal base sens. How can I decrease the sens and still keep that level of accel?
My brain is going to explode
i play really fst sense with 1600 dpi and 0.294 sense in game what type of curve should i use its really hard for me to hit long range shots
Wait, so rawaccel is allowed in pro play, correct? could have swore I heard somewhere that it wouldn’t be allowed on LAN tournament pcs?
We're 90% sure it is, if not he just won't use it when lans happen
@@WestProter Thanks for info. Guess it's time to get rawaccel! lol.
i feel like my mouse accel curve is weird AS FUCK, and idk how itll go. ill try and kepe it and mess around with it. Praying for the godsens
at just after 8 minutes in when explaining acceleration wdym as close to 1.7 as you can?
How do you do the obs part? Everytime I click on another program other than raw accel raw accel doesn’t move lol.
Try to run accel as admin
@@WestProter ah thnx, keep up the vids.
can I use it with 1200 dpi or should i just go with 1600?
i am really confused. HArd for me to follow. The Offset is negative when i do it this way and i cant find your playlist in aimlabs
Just play on a normal low/mid sensitivity bro.
when i tried downloading it the windows defender popped up. what do i do when it happens?
hey i have what is probably a weird question but idk what to do about it. when i play a lower sens in val (.125 1600 is what i find i play best on in comp) i burnout after a few games for the whole day but on a higher one im not as consistent on (ive tried .22 .175 and .14 in deathmatch but not ranked) i can play longer just not as well. .14 used to be my old sens but i switched bc i wasnt consistent. what should i do about this?
Train speed more if your arm gets tired easily, but not to the point it hurts
@@WestProter does this apply even if when i take like hour+ breaks i still cant aim on this sens?
@@dankmemes1257 are your issues not from your arm being tired?
@@WestProter i dont feel any physical tiredness and i still wanna play the game so i dont think so. its just like my aim burns out and i need to change sens
same sens, same problem - no physical pain or whatever but my aim also just dies at some point
Does raw accel useful with 400dpi? If you can, can you try helping me because I really wanna try raw accel.
1000 DPI BUT 0.6 hip in apex with a 2x sens multi can you tell me how to fix the mouse lag please?????????????????????????????????? my aim is really good with rotation of -8 it helps with the speed but ther mouse lag is killing me
I typically play 1600dpi .17 in valorant so would i just keep the sens multiplier at 1? or should i go to 3200 and use .5
Either. Doesn’t matter a ton tbh
@@WestProter if my offset is 1 is there even a point to put it at 1 or should i keep it at 0
@@gabucox 1 offset could make a difference especially on a classic curve
godayum we use the same sens im plat btw
Didn't know Thatgamerfrommars had a valorant channel
compliment or insult?
@@WestProter Compliment you sound exactly like him and talk like him
any tips for using .4 send and 800dpi?
You find because i have same settings
Can you get banned for using raw accel or is it safe to use?
I'm happy with the way I aim and perform in close and long gun fights, but it does take me a while to turn and flick quickly due to my sens. What settings would you suggest playing around with if I just wanted to make that easier?
Look at jlum and Sarah’s curves and then play around
@@WestProter Sounds good! Can I ask what name to look up for sarah’s curve?
@@jemmz_ look up Sarah on Twitter and click on the first val pro
What would be a good mouse acccel settings for 800 0.25 ?
Not how it works
The problem I have with using a high dpi is some games I play dont go as low as valorant, and I find it very awkward so thats the reason I will probably stay on 800 forever
dude gave a fix to this probelm 30 sec into the video
so what shal I do if im comfortable with 1600dpi .125, BUT whiff long range/microflicks?? how would I keep it at a steady .07-.09 ingame, then ig speed up and cap at my comfortable sens .125
You could experiment with it, but at where you’re at right now, it’s more of a training issue than a settings issue
This makes no sence... How am i supposed to know if my counts/ms is between 12 to 15 or 20-25, if it the graph only scales from "0-50-100-150-200-250-300-350"???
How do i change it so i can see the SPECIFIC ms?
between each marked number (50, 100, etc), there are unmarked lines of equal length. From there you can find a close enough approximation.
@@WestProter Okay, imma try and watch the video from start and try all over. I don't know why this is so damn confusing to me
I didn't understand anything but thanks for the video.
I downloaded raw accel restarted and now my mouse does not work at all. my g pro says its connected and charged in the app but it wont show up on the screen. i tried changing the port and restarting multiple times. i think i have a virus now and dont know how to fix it
discord.gg/WFEvuQzbRg
How do i make the final end goal to be 1 on the graph? I want it to start off at 0.68 then end at 1
Is that possible?
you set your game sens at 0.68.
your raw accel sens should be theoretically 1. Now set the cap 1/0.68(use a calculator) then you have it
what number did we write down before?
What do you mean by having the y value be around 1.7
On the graph there’s a y axis, the curves y coordinate at a point
